Grades

so i got all my grades today...

A in psychology
B in English
C in political science
C in math
D in music

i was really happy
i never got these good grades in highschool, even though in highschool, all i did was sleep and sleep and lunch, and thensleep some more (DAMN I HATE MUSIC...................class)

lets see how many poeple are smarter than me or not.. post your grades if ur still in school

Whats the music class like...music history (different genres and artists throughout the years) or music theory (notes and shit)...I loved music history but hated theory myself.

university or college

i dont think canadian high schools give you letter grades, so yeah, college.

uh...sorry but those aren't exactly "good" grades ...only the A in psychology is good

He never said they were amazing, just that he's doing better than in high school. Besides, it's a bit much to say that only an A is good. Some schools don't give out very many A's, it all depends where you go.

ya i was glad about my a and b. im not the best student.. FUCk i gt a 2.2 gpa in highscool (but it was the best highschool in central and south america)
with that gpa i got accepted to UCA, UGA, drexel. so not bad for a kid who got 2.2gpa in highschool
ya its college.... and i hate it, but i think im doin good.

lol thats what my dad just emailed me! hahhahah

ya its history of music... and we had to memorize like a 5 cd's and then she would ask us what song is it? and play like 5 seconds of a random song.. it was hard

i had a 3.6 GPA in college. i learned how to talk my way into good grades without actually having to do the work. a really good skill for the real world...

and astronomy final too

and multivariable calc three, especially because i got 98 & 92 on 2 exams

as for linear algebra, WOO HOO, 94 on exam 1 - average was 92, 86 on exam 2 - average was 63 (3rd highest grade among 60 ppl!), 100 on exam 3 - average was 91 or something... so GUESS WHO DOESN'T HAVE TO TAKE THE FINAL WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Haha I'm taking calc 3 also, but I don't think anybody in my class managed over 90 on the midterm and the average was under 50. The final was last week and I don't think I did much better. Whatever, they'll curve it.

yeh, calc 3 is mad hard, not because it's "hard" hard, but because there's SO MUCH STUFF and the concepts are somewhat abstract. plus i'm taking it twice a week, 75 min/day, so we go through lots of stuff... hard to memorize, but i've been ok so far. tomorrow will study more!

but i just found out that i have 726/1000 in my astronomy class and i'm yet to take 2 exams the lowest of which will be dropped! so i need at least a C to get an A in the course! YES! I AM GOD! I AM GOD OF THE ASTRONOMY PEOPLE!

Grades have almost nothing to do with how smart you are for the most part.

However, this brings up something funny. Define 'smart'...
