Matti is awesome ... flakes

is it any group that makes tunes in same way that Matti? i love his style, you now any with the same dreamfactor

As far as I know the only alias' that he use are Cosmicman & Matti Laamanen.

Flakes was massive, really reminded me of his early days (Back To Unity, I Love You, Krystal Dreams).

I dont agree with you. I think his productions have his own unique touches to them. His productions and remixes are always top quality. I heard his latest tune on last weekends world tour show. Ferry played it and its really awesome. Its going to be released under his matti laamanen guise like flakes. It doesnt have a name yet though. Check it out, should be as big as flakes I think

is poopoo one word or two

Gladius...
As per your avatar:
Let us break down the word so that we may first understand its origins.
Pronunciation: p p often simply poo
Function: suffix, noun, adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French "poupe"- to defecate, break wind, from Latin "puppis" - to make a gulping sound; of imitative origin. The second poo is an obvious alliteration of the first syllable, such as in choo-choo train.
Date: 1533

--used interchangeably with EXCREMENT, often shortened into one syllable (poo)
-- used as a derogatory diminutive or possibly as a term of endearment i.e.

Hope this helps shed some light on this great debate.

dude he definitely needs to change it up a little bit on those cosmicman remixes, they all sound the same to me in my opinion. but its in a good way. just an opinion.

Posted by DJ Ezzian on Dec-18-2003 10:02:

didn`t he have a nick called Sundawner?

Yeah, Flakes went under that moniker until he decided to release it under his own name. The old tracklists when Flakes was on CDR will probably still say Sundawner.

Mike Shiver - Feelings (Cosmicman's Meesah remix) - another great one remix from this guy

I think his remix of Lange - Don't think it (feel it) is probably one of his best productions together with flakes.

matti RULES! everything that man touches turns to gold. i hope to hear a lot more stuff from this guy. also i think Trimax - Only In My Dreams (Matti Laamanen Remix) is underrated...

I agree, it's up there with Krystal Dreams, I Love You, Back to unity etc.

Amazing remix.

It's true though that all his productions have the same-ish synth and have instrumentally very much in common.

His earliar stuff was different. Listen to his remix of Scarab vs. Inzite - Unity Of Earth, with say, I love you/back to unity, then compare that to his more recent work (Such as his tri max remix or flakes). A lot of his recent work is fairly simaliar, but overall, he does have differing styles.
