My Wish

Hello,

I hate making drums with midi. You have to quanitize and tweak them for a long time so they have good intervals and they repeat properly. I don't even know why they make midi drum sampler plugins

I would like to see a drum sampler vst/dx plugin that has a step sequencer like fl's step sequencer. Also, option to save to wav loop and insert the loop into a new track in the main sequencer with just one click of a button.

So far, the only plugins with step seqencer that I have found is fl and microtonic. However, with fl you must switch to the normal application which is not needed and can't automatically save and add a new loop to your track. Same thing goes with microtonic and ontop microtonic is not sample based, its a drum synth. So it has limitations when it comes to sound.

Don't you guys think that having something like that would be cool?

Maybe there is a thing like that and if there is please let me know.

Drum Programming with samples in Buzz is ridiculously easy, one of the nice things about it.

Don't you know what a step sequencer is? Thats what I want in a drum sampler plugin. Plus ability to save it to wav loop and at the same time ad it into a sequencer track all with one click of a button.

Battery is midi triggered and doesn't have a step sequencer. Also, you can only save drum kits but can't save to acidized wav loops.

What is Buzz? I never heard of it and couldn't find any info on it. Please provide a link.

TIA

Buzz is a whole software development package that's definitely worth taking a look at. It's free, and very different from most of the stuff out there. It's a program with a steep learning curve, but once you get comfortable with it you can do a lot of stuff faster than any other program out there. It's based on the idea behind a lot of old mod trackers; if you have no idea what those are you probably won't be interested in it, hehe.

You mean you want an arpeggiator midi plugin?
