Read This! DJ Mag Top 100 Issue finally in Toronto - Some interesting facts!

So finally after about 2.5 months of dalay the issue finally arrived here in Toronto. In any case I just grabbed it today and was looking rather quickly through what the DJs themselves had to say and found out some interesting things.

-#19 Tall Paul in his picture is sitting right under the CN tower...rather appropriate for his name
-#15 Marco V says (As Tat girl has mentioned in her interview) that the best undiscovered DJ is Preach from montreal
-#13 Sander Kleinenberg's best undiscovered DJ is Brad Copeland...also from Montreal (Mtl. starting to look really good)
-#18 Danny Tenaglia says for "best undiscovered dance music territory" that "...There's something magical about Canada..."
-Seems that all the djs agree that eastern europe and former Soviet bloc is the hottest up comming dance music scene...

Anyway there's lots more and I'm sure more interesting little facts but I haven't had the time to look through all of it yet. Go grab your copy today!

very true; i said the exact same thing while in Poland this summer. The scene is really in its infancy right now, but its growing, and lots of great hidden talent there as well.

Misstress Barbara named the residents from Dagobert and Aria as her "biggest unknown DJs" or something.

Oh, and she also named the track that *I* ID'd for her as her track of the year.

And also...this is cool...

K This will be my last post for a week I'm off to Amsterdam!

he came only once to canada in the last year and it was at stereo for a 20h set I believe...

Copeland (ottawa) and Preach (Quebec city) both now living and residents in montreal are the next upcoming star djs from canada.

he has just recently begun playing gigs around the rest of the North America. 2004 should be a monster year for him. Couldn't happen to a nicer and more deserving guy. I've known him for a few years, and he just keeps getting better.
