Very helpful indeed, especially for my trip this weekend

So where's everyone gonna be on Friday?

And how is Crobar, especially on Fridays - that might be my only chance to go, as I'm planning to go to Spundae on Saturday, and will have to leave that early.

I don't see anything listed for Sunday or Monday night (I'll be in town until Tuesday early evening), but is there anything usually happening on those nights that I should check out, musical or otherwise?

Yes - AvB is coming Feb. 21 and G&D/Holden are the 28th (at least that's what I've been told).

The list only contains "official" gigs - where either the promoter or the dj has announced the gig on a website or somewhere else.

Also, click on the link for an updated list. I'll try to update the original post every so often.

Do any of these places have dress codes?

I have sneakers that are nicer than a lot of people's "good" shoes. :P

Holden and G&D in one night is almost too much. I'd rather experience them separately to savor them.

Yeah, I'd like to know too, especially for the Spundae events, because all the Spundae events are at Vision right? And that would mean those are 21+

yes - most of spundae events are 21+.

some of the "special events" are 18+ = I think the Ferry show at HOB was 18+ and the PvD show was 18+.

Also, Mauro Picotto @ Congress Theatre was 18+ (another Spundae event).

I believe the 18+ venus (the ones w/ the Caberet liscense) in Chicago are...
- The Congress Theater
- Aragon Ballroom
- Riviera
- Metro (not smart bar)
- House Of Blues
- O.K. Corral (Mexican nightclub next to The Congress)

Where can I find a listing of events for chicago? DJ's visiting and stuff?

I actually like Smartbar better than any of the clubs you listed (Traxx had the floor shaking last week, and I mean this in a good way), but they don't do trance. http://www.smartbarchicago.com.

Smartbar rocks too, but I would not cosider it a big club. Nice though. I have many strips from the photo booth myself
