Just found this news @ the armada site, for everybody who's interested, some nice info on upcoming mix-compilations in 2004.

Can't wait for them all to be released, especially MIKE and Signum together (FINALLY a Signum mix-compilation, have been waiting for ages.

wtf, that sounds pretty weird. mike picks more electro and techy tracks while signum goes all for the anthems.

it looks like good news though. just hoping those mixes won't be as bland as universal religion 01, that was a bad start for the armada compilations.

hehehehe yeah

but armada is setting itself up great marketing wise. armin is already well established. markus is emerging and already has a loyal fan base. not only that two major radio shows. european and us markets. armada is up to something...sounds good to me...

True they probably won't be anything we haven't heard MS play, but it will be nice to help support the artist. Especially for us fans that are not DJ's and don't collect vinyl . Can't wait!

When I was picking up Markus from the airport, we were talking about all his projects coming up. The way he described this compilation is thats its like an artist album almost. The tracks aren't just going to be 15 tracks he licensed from various labels. These producers who hes chosen to feature on this comp are practically making these tracks FOR him. He is working with them individually and are creating these tracks around the compilations theme. Its really quite an interesting route of doing a compilation. It adds a much more unique and personal touch because the producers are working with him.
