Clubbing. how do you dress? Matching clothes. How to? colors etc.

Hi.
I have a problem (at least I think I do) in matching clothes together, somtimes I think that clothes don't match together. Could you give me some advices. What kind of shoes should I wear with the jeans and what shirt (I assume button down). Generally tell me what do you wear while clubbing. In your opinion what colors match together well. Sometimes I feel in "casual" clothes like a stupid , is that normal?

Ok I think thats it.
Could you give some links to nice t-shirts shoes etc

Thanks for any advices.

Hey man, don't feel like a stupid. If you feel like you cant match up clothing, just wear neutral colors like black, grey, and white. That's the best advices I can give you.

You can wear pretty much anything with blue jeans.

whats wrong with looking nice?? personally i'd rather dress nice than be one of those stupid raver kids with beads or a stoner dressed in black

i wasnt trying to say that, i was just saying that if you look at gender as a socially constructed definition of what male and female is, our points just went down. Personally, i just wear whatever i want; i dont really think about matching colors and things. My solution for pulling has always been the harder you try, the less likely you are to suceed....

When I go out to a real party I'm usually dressed in Armani, Diesel, Hugo Boss, etc ...

Wear a fucking Sesame Street t-shirt all the girls love them.

thats rather unfair, black goes with everything, especially black jeans, you look really slick in solid black, although it is rather boring

i dont mean to brag..

but i really know how to dress myself... i'm one seriously cool mother******

unless the place has a dress code, i just wear jeans and a neutral T-shirt. nothing complicated. i'm not there to look slick, i'm there to chill, listen to music and dance.

As far as shoes go, i prefer Diesel shoes simply cause of the comfort. For clothes there's alot of great brands out there besides Diesel, depending on your style. Pusch, Error, J. Lindenberg to name a few. Best way to see what looks good is to look at other people and see what appeals to you, or look in some speicality shops that carry a certain type of look/line. Alot of times i find the best clothing is the clothing you dont notice at first glance. It's the cut, line, texture, colour which set them apart. Does fashion drive people, or do people drive fashion?

I say...wear whatever the hell you want, and if it looks good to you then it's good enough to go.

Of course you have to watch out for the club dress code.

Here's what I saw one partier do:

Needed: One car battery
One power converter for the car battery
2 packs of flashing christmas lights

Sew christmas lights into pants. Put battery in backpack. Plug in Christmas light.

Actually, you know what would make you the hottest clubber ever...if you wore a salad bowl on your head and then put the salad tongs in each of your back pockets.

Posted by malek on Dec-22-2003 02:09:

latest trend is to wear a really "dressy" shirt or top with some weared down jeans. also, layering "neat" and "dirty" textures is fashionable.

baggy jeans and carying a fat wallet in your back pocket are a no no.

clean shoes are a must, always.

DUDE were whatever you want, if you try to dress like everyone else or like everyone else tells you to dress that just makes you a fronter. My advise is go to the mall, look around in the stores see what looks groovy and buy it. There is nothing that you HAVE to wear clubbing just be YOU MAN.

dude, he's gonna wear whatever he wants anyways, he just needs some pointers. Not clothing brand/model and item numbers...

honestly, you can absolutely never go wrong with a long sleeve white button down shirt (probably roll up yer sleeves), decently fit jeans, and some comfy shoes.
