Arrival
First of all I wanna say Hi to everyone. It s my first time here!
Also a special Hi to FastDJMP3 who s never happy.
I would like to know if anyone have been to Arrival before and how was it. I m thinking of going and take a look but I m not sure I would like raving outside. I m waiting for your reply.
P.L.U.R.

Dude i'm never happy because it's rare to see the Montreal Forum active
but don't worry .
Personally i've never been to arrival , you have to ask sylphin , delstar , sohaness or RiZsEtH .
arrivalllllllllll
I've been from the second and third arrival.
Second one was pretty nice but not such as the first one as the say of those who where there...The third one was pretty shitty. Hated pretty much all of this one , everything sucked sooooo much.
The fourth one , last year I prefered to stay home and that was a very nice choice , cause it was the baddest of all. This year lineup is kinda really nice , but will all the djs will show up ?!?!? Last year some headliners was missing like Rabbit in The moon...And the djs who showed up was
#1-not paid
#2-not ebought paid
#3-"On ete crosse raide par les promoteurs"!!!
So I doubt a lot about this year.

The best way to have a nice party and chill is not when you got narcotics dogs sneaking at you all night long!
fastdjmp3 was right
ask me
i went to arrival last year, and i think it was considered arrival 4? im not too sure
it was in a huge huge outdoor campsite which was all flat grass and was surrounded by high trees so it felt as if you were in the middle of nowhere! very cool.....
what i liked was the different kinds of music playing at once....one side featured hard techno with an outdoor stage.....one small tent had acid techno..pretty wacked!...another tent had some hard house and trance.....and i stayed in the goa tent the whole nite...x-dream was there and they were awesome..anyways, don't expect a regular mainstream party like oasis...its pretty underground, you can say....no crazy lasers a huge name djs....all in all its a pretty party (hope it doesnt rain!)
i'm not one for these hippy parties. Although I'm happy arrival is only 1 night this year.
All and all, it probably will be a decent party.. with good music. Dont expect wonders from the sound and lighting though (you know they have to be cutting corners somewhere) But personally I find is way overpriced for what its worth. I would pay 30$ TOPS for a party of that caliber.
I was wondering for those who went to arrival last year,
how was the security and is it allowed to bring some lightsticks.
P L U R
Looking forward for the arrival of the SpaceShip...

i agree with sylphin once again
if anyone thinks 514 is overpriced, they should have their head checked
cream has seaman, tong, pappa, t. maas, tall paul (all in top 22 in the world)
yet they are charging 52 online and at least they have good lights and sound......arrival last year had pretty cool music, too bad I can't say the same for the setup!
What do u mean by setup ?
Setup
setup = sound and lightings
oh and I don't know for last year... but 2 years ago police was there with narcotic dogs and all that shit. With the new law (1 policeman for each 125 peeps) it will be worst!
For lightstick , let them at home and burn them dude , they suck big time!
DOum!
last year we got searched pretty good.....it wasn't like an "oasis" search..but the looked in my cig. pack, which never happened before

CopS
Sylphin...
The new city law said it.
If you want to throw a party , you have to get a permit.
To obtain the permit you have to hired policemen. One poliman for each 125 peeps.Promotors also had to give (I don't remember how much) free entrance for undercovers.
You also have to hired one medic gard or wathever is it called from "la croix rouge" for each 125 peeps too.
This law is in effective for big parties (800+) since july 1st.
From september 1st small parties will be under this law too.
DOum!
thats pretty fuckin nuts...but u know what...i saw about 40-50 cops at oasis and there was only 5,500 people so i guess it makes sense.
also by law, they are only selling 7,000 tickets and the jarry tennis center is HUGE! when i went to snowball they used the whole thing for 4,000 people and you could have sworn it was 75% empty....at freaky there was about 3,500-4,500 people in half the place and it was still very spatious
out of any venue, this is the venue that we have the least to worry about. If cream was in the BIG O (parking garage) i probably wouldnt go because cream last yea was 50 degrees and i lost 12 pounds!
