Dunno Ocenlab - Satellite ??

is the last track of the Above & beyond ASOT episode 126 (04-12-2003) Satellite original version, or is it the Above and beyond remix? I have the remix by Schulz, the vocals are exactly the same, on the other hand i have another version (7.19 mn) which is also called oceanlab - Satellite , but it sounds totally different, totally different vocals and melodies. Could you give me more informations?

there should only be the original mix and the Schulz mix out right now. They are also having a remix competition for this song, so I suppose you might find some wierd remixes scattered across the net.

hmm you may be right, i have tried to understand the vocals, and i can hear something like "sleeping satellite", so there is certainly a mistake in the title of my track cause it is called oceanlab satellite, anyway this song is a pearl!

they play the origional mix at the end of ASOT, i think the Above & Beyond remix pisses over it tho. took me ages to get that on mp3.

yep i have this liveset, and i have dowloaded the beginning of the A&B remix, it seems to be the same track, but like i said the track i have which is called Oceanlab - satellite (the track is mixed, enght : 7.19) this track sounds totally different, there is the word "satellite" in the vocals, like Infinity0908 said, it could be another track namely Aurora sleeping satellite, and this song currently circulate under the name oceanlab - satellite...

Aurora - Sleeping Satellite (Super 8 Remix) does sound like A&B obviously but it's very different from Satellite. The Aurora tune says "blame this sleeping satellite" whereas the Oceanlab says "you pray to me, your lucky star, your singing satellite" etc.

Hi, the Aurora track is taken from a track by Tasmin Archer ('Sleeping Satellite'), that track was actually a number one hit here in the Netherlands in 1992. Very nice timeless popsong, would easily become a hit again if it had a first-release now.
