Robert Nickson - Spiral (MK-S Remix)
download!
edit: fixed a few things, thanks for the recommendations
Started this ages ago, only recently got round to getting near to completing it.
I think it's pretty much done now, still doing some final tweaks, would appreciate some criticism of it in it's current state.
Cheers
Sounds awful, get this hideous piece of noise off this board!
sounds great
but kinda thin thou
This is some nice trance here for sure!
Kinda agree with dbl though, but maybe it's just cuz of the 96kbs thing. I also noticed it kind of sounds like you used the same gated pattern and sound with one of the synths that you used in your remix of Frenzy. That could be good and bad though. It's a nice sound..sounds like the Gated Angel from Absynth.
Nice work.
thats it!! it reminded me a bit of his mis of frenzy!!!! u should try to fix that mike :P other than that though it sounds good!!! i bet i can now tell a mk-s track apart from all the others!!
i wish it was mine
Great Job there i love it
this is awesome!!!
The build up is amazing... but i think main part could use some more energy, it seems kind of flat, It could be cus of the lo-fi tho...
Good job anyways

It's where the filter on the lead goes down a bit. I'll change that. Cheers all!
Stick this on the flipside of the vinyl
Great work as always. I agree about it sounding a little thin, maybe just because the original has such a huge synth sound. Maybe some kind of white noise (like in the Super 8 vs Orkidea remix of Aalto - Rush) could help fill it up.
The original sounds a little too close to Darren Tate vs Jono Grant - Nocturnal Creatures for me (even though its probably a coincidence), though it is well produced.

Quality... keep up the good work...
Good remix Mike, sounds uplifting. I'm not too fond of the square sound - not of squares in general, this one just sounds a bit off for me.
That's about it for me, good luck with the next tunes & remixes
Sounds really good to me!
excellent work, i reckon this would fit into Jon O's or Armins sets perfectly.
MK-S are you a full time producer? just that you seem to be able to knock out loads of tracks.
breathtaking work .. again ..
tops the original even, and that is a blinder of a track
well done well done!
