Lighters illegal?

Are lighters illegal for people under 18? I just heard this recently from a few people, I never thought and still find it hard to believe....so is this true? I live in CA

Well I live in Massachusetts, and I know that your supposed to be 18+ to be able to buy one - I don't think a lot of people know about this though, because it doesn't seem to be inforced that much, be yea it's true...I think the same law aply's with matches too heh O_o

you can either ask someone around the store to go in and get it for you, or you can just roll a joint and use the cigarette lighter as you normally would.

Drinking and posession of alcohol under the age of 21 is illegal Orbax. You can be fined and depending upon the laws in the jurisdiction you are in, be put in the county lockup for a night or two.

Just because you do it and have been doing it for years does not mean it is legal.

whats really fucked up is that its easier for me to buy weed than alcohol, becasue of these stupid underage laws. its probobly becasue weed is easier to carry, and i have a lot of pothead friends, but i still like to get some alcohol once in a while too, and it sucks that its such a bitch to buy it.

I guess I have a strange sense of humor. I was just poking fun at a law requiring 18+ to buy and operate a flint lighting device which orgins date back to prehistoric man. When u said i dont get it, i assumed you were one of many of ppl today, who have no idea how common devices they use today work. Well now that you've made me explain my joke you have complete destroyed any chance of it being funny.
