Tiesto in Canberra moved to Boxing Day

Well there were rumours of this floatin around on ITM all day, but seems its now official - signs are up in one of the record stores here saying Tiesto's Cbr gig has been rescheduled to Boxing Day......

I dunno the reason why - but there was a thread on ITM saying some random shit about him accidentally being put on a flight to Bali and not being able to get back before Xmas Day.....hmmmm methinks that sounds like a load of bs - who in hell accidentally gets on a plane to Bali?? *lol*

But regardless, it's gonna mean all u guys comin down have some re-scheduling to do.....awwwwww I soooooooo hope u all can still make it

It's gonna clash with Halcyon tho........but Tiesto comes here once in a blue moon....so I know where I'll be......

that's good news for those of us with family commitments on christmas day. What's happening with ticket sales then? I would assume christmas eve tickets are valid or will be refunded, but anything about new sales?

no official news yet.....apparently official info will be posted on the canberra forum on ITM around 6.......

was just speaking to Mark and I won't be able to make it I was soooooooooo looking forward to this, Tiesto up close and personel, However the rescheduling means it will be impossible for me to make it, because I'm leaving for Qld early Saturday morning. At least I will still get my dosage of Tiesto at Summafielddayze.

wanted to catch you as well Gav ! your set at Halcyon Canberra, absolutely went nuts. Nothing anyone can do about it though, I just feel sorry for the guys who were planning on catching Tiesto at this gig only.

looks like 2 (out of 4) of us are still going.. but we lose some money off the accom we had booked and i have to chase refunds for the two that can't make it.

maybe tiesto could accidently come to Sydney and pop into halcyon for a few hours

alright, not going now =[ looks like i'll have to see the man when i'm in europe next year.

always wondered WHY tiesto had a gig on Christmas Day - much more obvious it was going to be Boxing Day - lack of communication between all the organisations/management teams involved etc. etc.

Tiesto's christmas day gig in adelaide is still going ahead tonight. It's the Xmas eve gig that was moved.

ahah yeah - if u bothered to check the tiesto website once in a while as well - it never showed a XMas Eve gig - only the ones on Xmas Day, Boxing Day and NYE... So this was known for quite some time!

pfffft, if u knew gav u'd know he probably LIVES on tiesto's website!! and actually, his website is always notoriously out of date - originally there was talk of him playin cbr boxing day, at a diff venue to the one he's actually playing at....THAT'S the gig that's still on his website....but that was changed ages ago - he was contracted for xmas eve here quite a while back, but it was never changed on the website (sumbody needs to give his management a kick in the rear end)....so, him not playin xmas eve WASN'T known more than a couple days ago

well i agree they dont update the coming gigs section nearly half as quick as they should... but i really dont believe it ever changed to Christmas Eve on the website - and thats the OFFICIAL bookings that are 100% confirmed...
