Sad How to get rid of this cheap fruity sound?

Hello!

I've been using Fruity Loops for 3 Years now and I can handle it quite good I guess, but how the hell do I get rid of this cheap sound? I tried almost everything! I don't know what to do any longer.

I added a sample. I made it pretty fast, but even if I spend whole weeks with the same tune it keeps being same.. Is there any hint? I'd be glad if someone could give me some tips!

Smoking ..umm..something Listen up !!

I have the answer !
Use REASON !!

Export the sounds/loops or whatever from Fruity and
import them into Reason !! and a new world
will open upon you !
You can do that with loads of proggies !

Also:
If you have a latest version of QbaseVST5 r3 (or up) than
you can run all the audiostreams from Reason
through QbaseVST (using REWIRE just like you can link
Rebirth v1.01 through Reason)
Its very cool !!

Its that simple !!!

tweak it

I have been using fruityloops for a year
http://www.smellybin.com/smp/daveb_...26-07-01)v2.mp3

i made this using nothing else other than fruityloops
(hint: use the TS-404 for your main tune)

also filters .. the reverb filter works wonders

Wow thanks for all the answers! I'll try to work on it today.

Unfortunately I can't use reason, I tried but my pc seems to be too slow, perhaps I just didn't set the options right.

Thanks a lot!

At the end indeed . So, too much effetcs aren't that good. But ok, when you just discovered the power of reverb and cutoff, you just can't get enough of it. Anyway, kurai, just continue working like that and you will make lots of even better tracks in the future. And if you have the money, you can buy some more professional equipment. However, who can work with fruityloops (ok, I can't work with it as I prefer hardware, I'm currently working with the Yamaha RM1x, really fantastic box I would say, for about $700) will be able to make impressive tracks.

It doesn't matter what software you have, what matters is how you use it. There's nothing wrong with fruity loops, just use it right.

Nice work Kurai, the 3rd version that you posted sounds great, very rich. The 2nd was a little too heavy on the reverb.
