Problem with a record

Hi TA's

Got a problem with one of my records... at random points on the record that particulat bit (or loop) of music keeps repeating itself over & over & over & over. Any ideas what could be causing this? (I thought it might of been the tone-arm or weight settings but it only happens to this one record, although sometimes it plays okay )

there is a scratch or a error in the groove, i believe that you can take a sharp pencil and draw in the groove where this is happening and it should repair the groove.

I usually get this if I have been eating cookies too near my decks. Play the track and see if you can identify the exact where this pappens the put your fingers over that area and see if anything feels in the way (sort of sharp'ish). Usually you can just scrape it away with your finger nails.
