Memory chip if anyone wants it

I have a 256 mb DDR memory sitting with me, i need to get rid of since i upgraded to 512mb

if you like it just pm me..

its a crucial memeory with lifetime warranty

i am giving it of for 50$.

Price is a little high for a used chip, don't you think? Unless it's got a heat spreader or something.

Might want to check pricenetwork to see what I mean.

Memory is like gold, it doesn't depreciate when used

Be that as it may, I'm not going to buy used memory when I can get new memory for the same price, and I'd imagine most people in this thread feel the same way. IF you don't get an offer, you might want to consider lowering that figure a tiny bit.

i wasn't saying retail price, but maybe 5-10 bux less... and you save taxes

Posted by Muff2K on Dec-25-2003 20:29:

i'm not sure about toronto area prices. but around here (hamilton) i can get new, regular RAM for about 50 bucks after taxes, 256 meg DDR-400.

btu this is crucial RAM, good shit... however.. still kinda expensive for being used.. sorry monish!

and btw, it's usually the same price for 400 or 333.

Who what where?

Alright i did reasearch i bought it online from crucial .com , so yes i ordered it from the USA.

I dont think any other manufacturer would provide you a lifetime warranty, yes its good shit ram!

I simply dont trust other memory at all.

Hmm i dont know whether it is 333 or 400.

All i know is that its 256 DDR memory

PC 2100,266Mhz,CL2.5,ECC-thats what its says on the sticker.

Yea Malek you tell them memory is like gold, if its used it doesnt become bad.LOL

Yes you do save on taxes also.

I will post a picture soon.

That price is for registered ECC memory - are you sure that's what you've got? Very few people ever buy ECC (error checking) memory, it's used in servers and stuff.

Besides which, $195 is also ridiculously overpriced, even for ECC. And PC2100 is getting obsolete.

ryan if you ask me, you have to read through the entire thread.

Posted by failsafe on Jan-05-2004 13:14:

If you ask me you should lower your price. Doesn't seem that anybody is intrested in buying overpriced used ram.

(=

if you ask me, you should see the price of a new memory which is the same brand, besides the other ones are NON ECC as diginut mentioned

well if not TA ill most likely find another buyer,

Even if it was a normal 256DDR stick, new @ the store, after taxes would be around $100, so $50 for a used stick isn't really that bad.
