As some of us know, Rob (UWM), has gone and gotten himself help for Drug and Alcohol abuse and depression.

And no this isn't a cry for attention post. I won't be around here for a while.

I will be back though, never fear.

UWM (Rob)

TA should show their support. I'm proud of Rob, for going to get help, and if there was any other way I could help, I would.

I hope Rob is doing well, and I hope he fully recovers. TA and IRC miss you Rob!

Didn't say that, just meant that it is no surprise that he was drunk as much as he was since it is a serious problem for him. That's all

Hehe, I was wondering what happened to Drunky McBeerface. There you are!! Been a while since i've seen any of your drink-related wisdom!!

As for young Rob, it's great what you're doing. We're all proud!! I've never had anything to do with drugs personally so I cant really know what you're going through, but it's gotta be harsh. So we're with you all the way!!

for some people it takes alot of balls to admit you have a problem so good for you that you are able to recognize it and seek help. I wish you all the luck and a safe return to TA!

I truly hate to be an ass, but wasn't UWM one of those people who claimed drugs are perfectly harmless if used in moderation?

Oh, well, best of luck to you anyway.

Posted by astroboy on Dec-26-2003 03:03:

^^^Yeah but then there's the question of whether the drugs caused the depression, or whether he was using drugs/alcohol to cope with depression (something that is inherently contradictory to using them in moderation and is bound to lead to problems).

Posted by allstar on Dec-26-2003 03:09:

good luck rob, all the best

Posted by Floorfiller on Dec-26-2003 07:41:

yo UWM...good luck. i've never had a problem with substance abuse, but we've all been depressed at some point so we know what you're going through...once again good luck and come back soon

Best of luck to you Rob.

I didn't know you very well,

but you seem like a swell guy who had some enticing tidbits of conversation from time to time.

Get well soon, bub.

Oh, yes, I forgot that using drugs is all good and fluffy. I guess UWM is paid by some government agency to pretend his drug addiction is a bad thing.

To be honest, I forgot about that cause I had other stuff to do. I have some time now, so I'll do it this evening probably. What was the name of that thread?
