"I love you when you dance when you freestyle in trance
So pure such an expression..." papapa

"You from New York you are so relevant
You reduce me to cosmic tears
Luminous more so than most anyone
Unapologetically alive knot in my stomach
And lump in my throat..."

Track selection: descent

Comments

Part I <<- descent

James Holden - The Wheel <<<- Fresh
Gabriel & Dresden - Serendpidity <<<- dated to me; but just released [[boo ]
Alanis Morrisette - So Pure <<<- good
Accadia - Into the Dawn (James Holden remix) <<<- good
Dj Ernesto - Urban Cowboy <<- excellent

Part II <<- descent

Locodice - Phat Dope Shit <<<- awesome house
Duncan Sheik - On a High <<<- ewww... too overplayed for me; great track [[[ewww ]]]
Orielle - All I know <<<- great
Kate Bush Vs. Infusion - Running up that hill <<<- a bit overplayed
holden & thompson - nothing <<<- way too overplayed; one of the best tracks of the year tho _

Conclusion:
Would like to see some either newer tracks... or tracks that aren't played as much by the big djs (cookie cutter tracks)... In my opinin, dennis is a better dj in this volume; can't wait for the next one

1. ok raversurge. i think you missed the point, why we actually made this Vol. It was not made to promote any brand new ch00ns which u can rarely find in the hub or something like this. We wanted make a Mix which fits in all of those tracks, some kind of a journey.
2. raver it was not meant to be as PROMO of the newest RIPS.
3. tell me why the 2nd transition is that bad?! have u ever mixed "So Pure" then u should know how this track is arranged!

mmm... in that case; it did cover the genres: trance, tech, house, prog... good job... not criticizing... dont think i can do better... great mix; i love the track selection... a shit load better than some so called "super djs"; the the g&d tracks i just overplayed to the point of insanity... its my problem not yours ... i have issues; sorry for my critics about those traxx; became a g&d addict for a while and overplayed their songs till my ears fell out.. .. about the transition 2... i liked it... i just heard the fading a little too much... i guess i wanted the transition to be a little longer... i know its very hard to mix the two together or to go from one to the other; props for trying ... i wouldnt have even made an attempt heh

-sorry for my retarded critics on old tracks i overplayed; i just can't listen to them anymore... however they are amazing tracks and everyone else will LOVE this set... it takes one on amazing journey through the genres... if this was the goal then the track selection is flawless; you hit your target i salut you

P.S. amazing job! You guys have shitloads of potential i'm ready for volume 2

edit: mmmm.... giving it a second listen.... mmmm.... omggggginnggg... i'm dyinggg.... great job guyz... follow me into the light fellow TAs for the adventure very smooth.... u just gotta be in the right mood to listen to this; thats what my problem was <<<- i admit it!

P.S. GET IN THE MOOD!!!! and listen to it again and again (especially when your girlfriend comes over)

Accadia - Into the Dawn (James Holden remix) <<<- omfg... totally skipped over this track while listening.... now paying attention to thix mix and loving it

edit #2: 3rd time listening to it now....ok i'm a total idiot; this set pwnz me... FUCK ME i'm retarded!

hehe, hey guys especially raversurge ....im glad that u like our mix that much but ur judging is not fair in some way . we havent made that mix to be the most underground "nobodys knows our tracks" guys on ta. we tried to do a great mix and we havent watched to other djs. this is just our style so plz dont judge tracks just because some other djs played them some time. and i like michis transitions more than mine and i dont see why u dont like the transition to alanis . but i wanna thank u that u gave our mix so much of ur time.
