Lives up to Vegas.

Don't even compare Tweekend to Vegas, please.

Tweekend = ABSOLUTE SHIT!

Posted by Evil_Gnome on Dec-29-2003 07:03:

I found nothing wrong with Tweekend...

I agree, I found nothing wrong it at all. There were some catchy tracks on that album, they just explored new genres like Basement Jaxx did with Kish Kash.

Yeah calling it absolute shit was a bit harsh. I was just very dissapointed with the CD after Vegas, one of my favourite EDM albums of all time

Legion of Boom is very nice though, as well as CM's Comp "Community Service"

Posted by Evil_Gnome on Dec-29-2003 22:39:

Is community service worth buying?

Hell yes! One of the best compilations I own.

Posted by torontotrance on Dec-29-2003 23:44:

I've heard parts of the cd cuz a friend of mine is a huge Crystal Method fan. I like some of what I heard.

Definately, tons of awesome mixes on that cd...one of favourite cds

Posted by Evil_Gnome on Dec-30-2003 05:19:

I think I need to pick that cd up then!

Posted by JRock on Dec-31-2003 03:08:

Glad to hear people saying this is better than Tweekend as I did not think much of Tweekend either but enjoyed some of Vegas.

Picked this up on the weekend and it's a great album despite the overusage of vocal sample. I mean come on Milla Jovovich? I mean I know she's a singer who never made it but come on. Rahzel is a quality rapper though and I didn't mind the songs with him.

I give it an 8/10, would have gotten a 9 had it not had so many vocal samples and such, would have been a lot better had they toned it down a bit.

BTW this cd is great when you're snowboarding

whats the first single going to be?

The first single was Born Too Slow, it has been played for a while now, not sure what the one after that will be.

Posted by Eis on Mar-09-2004 00:19:

The only good song on the album imo is 'born too slow' and I ruined it too by playing need for speed undergound constantly (born too slow is on nfsu ost) so this album hasn't really got anything to offer me :/

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Mar-09-2004 14:39:

I can't get into this one at all for some reason. Technically there's nothing wrong with the tunes but I'm just not feeling it for some reason. Dunno why.

Posted by MekkaFIN on Mar-10-2004 06:36:

Born too Slow is awesome. Deepsky's remix is even better!
