dry lips

ok everyone, my lips get reall dry. i mean seriously dry.

especially after a night out, regardless of whether or not i take pills / drink.

my lips r always reallt dry for the next few days.

does anyone know why this might be happening?

i smother my lips in vaseline every night before i go to bed, but still, after a night out they're fucked.

David

MUHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHHAAAA!!!!!
no i dont mean it tastes like condoms, i meant it cauze u dont feel ur partner while kissing with labbelo on ur lips

I dunno about drugs/pills etc, but when you drink you're body takes water from wherever it can to try and dilute the alcohol in the blood stream. This includes taking moisture from your lips, which is why they're dry.

Before you go to bed after a night out, just have a pint of water to drink, and take another pint to bed with you for when you wake up. That way your lips wont be quite as dry when you wake up, because your body reabsorbs all the water again during the night.

EDIT: Condoms?? wtf is this thread turning to??

King

i always bite my lips so ther're moist

if not i just give them a quick lip before i say something.

Posted by IbizaCrasher on Dec-28-2003 22:36:

if you lick ur lips they're bound to get dry, esp in cold weather, like -30(gotta love Canada!) then u go and smile and they get all cracked and start to bleed. no, not cool. I use some stuff from the body shop cuz they are all into, looking after ur body(go figure) it worx

Posted by TANYA on Dec-28-2003 22:57:

Dry lips is the first sign, when your body needs water. And don't lick your lips when it's cold and windy out

P.S.I bought a t-shirt today, and there is a sign on it "hot lips" LOL!!!

lol

seriously, my lips get dry, but its because I'm sensative to salt, if i have high salt food such as soup, it dehydrates the shit out of me and my lips get dry. so drink plenty of water

Posted by Sunshine79 on Dec-29-2003 18:09:

omg that Labello stuff is gross! i got the green kind for sensitive lips and it's icky! Chapstick or Blistex is definitely preferred. Or some really yummy flavored stuff.

Nice pics Bloodflower. I want to have you for a toy!

Posted by BloodfIower on Dec-29-2003 19:53:

lol, ehm what kind of toy?

as your personal lip moistener ???

seriously!!! i thought it was just me... i always have a tube of Chapstick Medicated with me! UglyDave, i highly recommend it. i have tried numerous types of chapstick/lip balm/lip gloss and it's the BEST stuff ever. they sell it in stick or tube form, and i own one of both. i prefer the tube kind, but you might prefer the stick... they both leave a different feeling on your lips so try em both to see which you like better!
