New Years Resolutions

So what are your resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I usually pick one major one out of three "important" ones.


1. Lose weight - move in to my gym and set up camp until summer

2. Travel MORE

3. Stop doing things i really don't want to do

I usually don't do the whole "new year's resolution" thing. This year, I already have a couple of resolutions I'd like to follow through on, though, the most important of which is to become a better student so that I can make it thru my last 3 semesters of school.

i've never been big on new years resolutions.. in fact..never really cared.. to be honest!...

i VOW here and now.. to FINALLY get a website of my own finished...

k i've been a professional webdesigner/graphic artist for almost 7 years now...

.. but for some reason i just have problems making something of my own!.. i'm just not creative enough to satisfy myself!

I'vce worked for governor's, presidential candidates (their sites are easy.. red white and blue and BORING!!!).. i've worked for big companies.. but they have and idea of what they want and I just make it happen and add to it something extra and special...

... but me?.. i trash almost everything i start when it comes to my personal site... took me six years to finally just say okay.. this is my logo (the edoyen logo you sometimes see on my sig) and so.. there.. i'm finally going to do that new years resolution thing and this is what its going to be... not that any of you guys care.. but hopefully you'll come see it when its done.. even if its just to laugh at it!

a permanent job instead of a temp one...

Get into the London School of Economics for the 2004-2005 academic year.
Party in London for that year with UKTA's.
Travel around Europe during the breaks.
Maintain a 3.6+ GPA.
This should be interesting...

I never end up following through on resolutions. But if i have to say some:

1. Learn to spin
2. Get a damn A in at least 1 class at college
3. Stop being shy and antisocial =P

1. Shoot my feature length film (seems like it will never ever happen)
2. Lose weight (seems like it will never ever happen)
3. Quit wasting my $$ on ciggarettes (seems like it will never happen)

my friend is the same exact way, he takes his art seriously and is never ever satisfied with any of his sites, and they all look SICK!
i constantly tell him hes crazy =D

Uhhh, I dont know how much of a New Years resolution these would be since I will be doing them, but here are my goals for the year:

1. Begin to mix.
2. Keep my grades up in school - right now Im running a 3.0
3. Loose weight for the trip to Ibiza so that when Brian and I go out we could tear up them clubs - If Im gonna learn anything, I gotta look good doing it.
4. In December, play my first set out of my room @ Vic's house party, for my birthday.

OMG, I just checked my grades for the Fall semester - HOLY SHIT! I did so well, I got, B-, B+, B+, B+ - Im extatic - Yo Brian, IM GETTING FUCKED UP ON NEW YEARS! PARTY TIME!

to live.

i dont normally make new years resolutions, but if i had to i guess i would say

1- eat healthier, no more cookies and ice cream for breakfast
2- save money this year
3- drink a little less... i am sick of hangovers.

I am with you 100%. I've been doing web site design for the past 5 years and it took me almost that amount of time to come up with a serious homepage. I've yet to come up with a design for the rest of my content. I just never remain content with my work!

I guess if I had to put down some resolutions

1) lose weight
2) learn Flash
3) start dating more seriously

not necessarily in that order...

lose my virginity!

I never made any New Years Resolutions cause I never really cared. This is my first time but here goes.

1. Join the Air Force,Marines or Navy
2.Make it to Ibiza with Vtec Junkie (This is a tought one)
3. Ummm to embarssing
4.What number 3 said

2.) Find a girl i can share my life with (sick of living the single life)
3.) Make it home from Ibiza (alive)

Reply for #2: I didnt make that a resolution for a reason, its not something you can force upon yourself or someone you like, it takes time, maybe more time for some than others, Ive learned that the hardest way possible by never actually having a g/f.

-Be happy and make people happy

1) QUit smoking... im so close
2) To become a Super Hero =] lol always wanted to be aquaman (Live a Healthier Life and get in shape)

5) Start dating seriously at some point of my life I want kids running around barefoot and butt naked... and me chasing them with diapers in my hand.
