Space Brothers in Sydney Tomorrow Night, YAY

Hi all,

I am surprised not to find a post with any details of the Space Brothers Australian Tour in here.

In case you haven't heard of them, they also record as Chakra, Lustral, Ascension, Oxygen, Lamai and Quadraphonic.

And all I can say is their music is fantastic.

Anyway, here are where there they are playing. I here they are playing a 3 hours set and will have their vocalist Talya performing too

Melbourne - NYE - Magnitude http://www.magnitudeproductions.com.au
Sydney - NYD - Arq
Brisbane - 11th Jan - Wickham Hotel
Sydney - 17th - Ruby http://www.rubydance.com.au

They are only playing gay venues, which I thought was surprising. I would of thought their music would have been just as popular in the str8 scene. Perhaps it has to do with cost, they aren't cheap and tickets prices are rather expensive.

Yeh ARQ and Ruby (The Shift) are relatively unknown here. Even though especially ARQ is an absolutely awesome club, and of course Ruby design is out of this world.

Wanted to go to NYD at Arq, but have to work 7:30am to 7:30pm on 1st and 2nd, so ordered tickets for Ruby on 17th.
Ruby parties are fairly mixed, but I would still not go if you do not feel secure in a gay enviroment. Seemed a bit high at $88 to go to the shift, but may be my only chance ever to experience my favourite producers live.
Word is that they required a A$100,000 holding deposit before confirming the tour.
Nice work if you can get it.
