Ok so its 2pm on the 31st and there is over a foot of snow at my house and it is only supposed to keep snowing and get colder!

The last 2 days up here in Whistler I've been riding in the bluebird days, but reached a peak of -35 with windchill. You couldn't friggin leave your house unless you had 8 layers on. The average day this week was -14

remember a couple of years ago it snowed really hard one day? my friends and i thought the school would be closed, but it wasnt, so we went to class, and some of our profs didnt even show up

the crappy thing is that if i want to drive anywhere, i have to drive over a layer of ice. i just went out and on my way out and back into the parkade, i skid on the road in my car. you can even see light reflect in the road. its scary shit and its the only way out in the car

they made us park in the damn parkade and walk loops through the mall to get to the university monday cuz they locked all the ramps and gates, heck, they didn't even clear the rooftop for us to park.

i know EXACTLY what you mean!!! i just flew back from Boston yesterday, where it was fucking snowing and freezing all over the place...i was like "good, finally i'll get some nicer weather"...and all of a sudden there's fucking snow and ice everywhere in vancouver!

but i gotta say, somehow i prefer the snowy weather here to the rainy weather.

Went down to Columbia, there were like 200 peopel waiting for a train because of some fire at King George and my buddy knew this number you call to check if classes are on. He couldn't get reception down at the platform so he ran upstairs, while he was upstairs the train for Commercial Drive came, everyone got on except for me and a friend, and as soon as it left, my buddy came back down and told us classes were cancelled so I feel sorry for everyone that got on that train.
