Any FLTAs interested in....

going to see AK1200 at the Alpha Bar on the 12th? I know it's Jungle but I'm hoping that if you all feel 1/2 as passionate about other forms of EDM as you do about Trance you'll enjoy this!

Torque is a weekly DnB night at The Alpha Bar which has started an entire scene in O-town. I mean, AK1200 moved down here from Japan just so he could go to Torque every week. The sound is incredible and the people there are awesome as well.

I'm gonna be headed down with a crew, so I thought I'd ask if any TAs wanted to join us? And please don't flame me for asking this, cus I feel about ALL music how you guys feel about Trance. I've been flamed for asking if anyone wanted to go to a Jungle show before and really it's not cool. There as much emotion in Jungle as there is anything else, you just have to open your minds and accept it.

So, anyone interested? I'll introduce you to AK and MC Collaborator, and you'll get to smoke a bowl with both behind thebooth, promise!

Rach...just when I think you can't get any hotter you come through with some "I love AK" shit and continue to amaze me!

you and anun, and anyone else who can come up should definatly meet me and the crew in O-town for some dinner before the show. I can't promise anything, but if I can find my girl Sparkle I'll try to get MC Collaborator and AK to eat with us(dat'd be cool, lol). Everyone like sushi?

I'm down! Drum and Bass is always fun! I love it!!! Plus TAs = more fun!!! I lived in Tallahassee before moving back to Rockledge. They don't play Trance anywhere up there, but they had once a week jungle and DnB. I went just to see what it was like the first time and really liked it. Always a good time and an upbeat vibe! The DnB tent at Ultra rocks!

Ooh, Rockledge... nice area, my grandparents had a condo there right by the water for a few years... All I remember was we used to go to Wal-Mart a lot because they had a big one there and they didn't have any Wal-Marts around here (Long Island) at that time..

that's hilarious! Never knew my Wal-mart was such a landmark. I love living here. I'm close enough to big cities that I can go when I want. And only 8 miles from the beach.

4anangel...you should definatly come up with Anun and Rach! Torque is definatly the best Jungle night I've been to since Frolik was here in Gainesville back in the day. The vibe is so chilled, and it's not an elitist altmosphere at all, which I really like...AK will be chillin at the bar with a Heineken before his set, lol. It's really funny...everyone is all standin on the other side of the club pointing goin "OMG...is that AK? No...it can't be..." when all they really have to di is walk up and be like "Yo, whats up man"

And ya...I can't WAIT for the DnB tent at Ultra this year...I REALLY hope DylanTech Itch and Andy C make it this year, not to mention Planet of the Drums!!! We are so dragging Arturo down there and hod tying him to a railing during POTD, rofl!!!

Rach...you gotta drag Flo and Art to this!!!HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

And no...it is NOT just noise...every single hit and snare and tap is perfectly placed. There may be 12 times as many notes per measure as aTrance song, and it may be at twice the tempo...but it's just as precise, I promise!
