Britney Spears claims she likes trance

Britney Spears hopes that people notice a change in musical approach on her new album, 'In the Zone', where she moves away from hip-hop and more into electronic dance-club sounds. "I think on the last album [2001's 'Britney'], there was a lot of hip-hop stuff," she tells Gary Graff of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I love hip-hop music; I'm very inspired by it. But I wanted to just do something different. I love to dance, too. I like trancey stuff, so there's a lot of trancey, club-scene stuff on this album just to have a taste of something a little bit different."

It would be awful. Trance tunes with her shitly annoying voice! I hope she were drunked when she said this. The only place to those songs would be commercial compilations such as Dream Dance.

It will just make the general populace hate trance even more.

most ppl in America have no idea what the difference between techno and trance...


she's just giving america the wrong impression of what trance is seeing as how she doesn't kno herself

that's nice to see real artists admitting that trance is a good style of music.

Yeah right...as if she knows what Trance is. If this is true then this will for sure make acts like Ian van Dahl and Scooter seem like pure underground Trance.

Not in Norway! Now, people will refer to her "music" as trance, and the global discussion between TA's and complete ignorants on what's trance or not, will grow even bigger.

As always though, I won't make any conclusion until I've heard her "new album". Neither will i listen to it as a volunteer !

I was actually gonna post a topic on her new cd..... My girlfriend bought it, I listened to it and damm was I suprised. There is a obvious, more mature approach to this album. Mark my words guys were gonna be seeing lots of Britney remixes is 2004. If you haven't listend to it give it a chance.

Still, I think the producer should get credit for his music (if you actually like it), instead of Britney for her breasts.
