an amazing producer, check out other works by luke chable...the aussie have some good talent

I just don't get what people see in this track. I really find is boring as all hell... Its a friggin filler track! Worse yet every damn Progressive Mix has it these days... I could never get down to this tune... I really liked You Are Sleeping, awesome tune... and Chable's stuff from 02 is killer... but not Ride...

i dunno...it is def a slow song, but it's pretty and was a lot of fun dancing to when Sander dropped it on NYE. Maybe that's why I love it so much now..

Anyway, I will def check out the older stuff. Thanks guys.

whats wrong with a filler track ? you build with fillers before droppin an anthem.. if all producers made anthem-throw-your-hands-in-the-air tracks, dj sets will be boring as hell with no flow or build up at all..

Posted by arturob on Jan-02-2004 20:44:

filler my ass. wtf.

ride = tune of 2003. omfg so good!!! everyone loves it here in miami.

Posted by NYGblue on Jan-02-2004 20:57:

Tae... its not that there is anything wrong with it... but I don't think it could ever stand out in a set... its got that little jingle that is pretty cool... but it doesn't go anywhere... it just kind of keeps doing the same thing for 7 minutes... its the kind of tune during which i get a bottle of water not throw it down hard... same goes for James Holden - Break in the Clouds... i love Holden but for christ sake its does NOTHING!

I am not saying you shouldn't like it or that its terrible... I just have trouble getting the whole love for it...

what about Nathan Fake - Outhouse... now THAT is a fuckin tune...

all good.. u dont have to like it.. but dont say its not good since its a filler track... most djs drop more fillers than anthems or popular songs cuz that the way you build a set.. fillers dont means its bad its just dont 'stand out' as much as 'running up that hill'.

Posted by NYGblue on Jan-02-2004 21:08:

RIght... i mis-stated... its not a bad track of and in itself... I just don't get all the hype behind this track... that is all...

Bree try these if you like Chable:

Sasha - Cloud Cuckoo (Luke Chable REmix)
PQM - You Are Sleeping (PQM Meets Luke Chable Vocal (or DuB) Mix)
Chable and Jono Fernandez - Before you Break on Me
Luke Chable - Eat Static

Those are some of my favorites...

Posted by sandstorm03 on Jan-02-2004 21:26:

now outhouse is the worst tune ever, soo boring
loopity loop loop, loopity loop loop, loopity loop loop goes no where

Posted by NYGblue on Jan-02-2004 21:47:

I would disagree there... its subtle... but man that tune kicks ass... it starts off cool then comes down a little leaving in a mild bassline and then wham! especially the fluffy mix... or if you mix together the orig. and the fluffy mix like Holden did on 005...

Chable - After the Storm..

Posted by NYGblue on Jan-02-2004 22:22:

After the Storm is a damn good tune...

Posted by sot on Jan-02-2004 23:49:

chable r0x hardd!

heh ride, is getting old now and a bit overplayed but still a CH00N!

Posted by Shamez214 on Jan-03-2004 00:39:

breaks remix of ride is so much better than the original. but def not the tune of 2003. those honours go to ian brown - fear (unkle remix)

Posted by Greedy on Jan-04-2004 01:03:

ride is an alright tune.

Posted by capricorn15 on Jan-04-2004 01:17:

digweed played this on nye, it was dope

Posted by Anno Domino on Jan-04-2004 05:05:

Chable is a Breaks Producer and Ride is a prog breaks track which I find quite melodic for some reason its a CHILL track... with its own cult following nothing compared to (Embrace Me, Surround Me...) ahem!1!1!1!1!1 ahem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111!!!!!!!!

Ride is a probably the best "Filler" track I heard in years.

Posted by Trancer on Jan-04-2004 22:42:

listening to it right now - its pretty good - and there is nothing wrong with "fillers" - all sets need tracks that are "fillers" - a set totally made up of anthems - i don't like - don't know about the rest of you - PQM - You Are Sleeping (PQM Meets Luke Chable Vocal Pass) - is the sample in that completely original or is it from something like TV, movie? The voice doin the sample sounds lot like one from Thomas Heckmann & Marc Romboy - Ultra Vixens - anyway laterz

Posted by DJ_Lord on Jan-05-2004 00:24:

it's not a filler i dont understand why u guys keep saying it is lol.. it may be a filler to you cuz its 130 bpm and not the usual 140 and its doesnt have a 2 min breakdown.. but hey most djs consider this a peak-set track meaning an anthem in the progressive scene..

Posted by arturob on Jan-05-2004 17:47:

this song is NOT a fuckin FILLER! you fucks!

Posted by Aya Brea on Jan-05-2004 19:25:

lol. arturo gets so angry

btw, lav this trax too. luke chable has skills
