Yeah, I've been out of the loop for YEARS. I havn't listened to any good goa in a long time. I found in my closet tonight a tape which the only recognizable tune on it is Cydonia - Animals

So I want your help in naming me some similar sets, or cd's I can purchase online, in the GOA field.

Astral Projection comes to mind, whats their best?

Unfortunately there is very little amounts of decent goa being produced currently. The same can be said for psy also.

Check out Saiko Sounds and Psyshop for samples to get yourself back in the loop They stock new stuff as well as older stuff.

I would also look at Alien Project... they are pretty cool! Astrix, even John 00 Fleming... he plays a lot of Psy...

As far as Dj sets, I know Morbius used to be an awesome GOA dj. Very stomping!!

Couple others to add, and I whole-heartedly second the recommendation for Astral Projection (they are my gods!).

Bamboo Forest - very good producers, almost AP like!
Ticon - lots of energy, very good PSY sound. They've got a 60 minute liveset on their web-site if you wanna check them out. Very good stuff. Some Simple Sounds from their album Aero is my Tune of the Year!!!.
Logic Bomb
Atomic Pulse

Can't think of too many more at this time of the morning, but there's a few great artists to check out in this thread.

and im sorry joof may play 2-3 well known (otherwise commercial) psy tracks in a set, doesnt qualify him as a psy artist
