Wtf???

Inverter

Converts 12V DC input e.g. ordinary car battery to 240V AC output (modified square wave), suitable for operating electric vibrators, TVs, videos, drills, soldering irons, sanders and most small appliances where 240V AC is not connected, but wet cell batteries are available, such as in your car or boat.

Anyone know wat sounds off in 'ere?

Umm...I'm sure that some do, yes. That'd make sense, cause they're battery powered too usually.
