ROFL! I just finished watching...

MTV True Life: Im a clubber.

This quite frankly is the funniest thing I have ever seen. The funniest being this fake ass bitch all over Jonathan Peters nuts - bitch is calling his house and stalking him outside his apartment - talk about problems.

MTV is looking up all the wrong places, but what can we do. Maybe if they checked out Arc or Roxy or Crobar or Avalon, it would be alittle different, but the fact that they are in all the drug infested club with a bunch of minors w/ fake ID's (and I dont me 21).

This kinda makes me happy I got into the club and dance scene because of TA and learning about it on TA and understanding it for what it is.

I agree with ya vlad!!!!

Let me state an obvious fact: Any type of show MTV produces that is supposed to portray "how something really is" usually 9 times out of 10 is garbage.. and only states the stereotypical idea of what its like. MTV is the epitome of mainstream in today's youth culture. Sometimes when Im bored I'll watch the "Real World" on MTV which ironically enough is even staged to a sharp degree in that the cast on the show are encouraged by the producers to dramatify their personalities so that conflict is a constant issue. Mtv imo sucks except for music videos and shows they air educating Americans on valid news and issues of this country...

Not only conflict, but if you refer back to the first episodes of Real World, people were more realistic looking. In the recent several Real World's, all of the people that they select look like they could be models and all have that perfect look. And they not only encourage conflict, but they also encourage that people in the house hook up. Whatever brings ratings right? If they did Real World with regular people, who would want to watch that? If they did True Life: Im a clubber in real clubs, that arent drug infested and would protray clubbing in a better light, would that bring ratings?

MTV should be blown to pieces. Nothing they ever air is real anymore. They put all these shows and crap and make artist look like there god and thats waste. I see young artist all the time and they looks that same.Whta I really can't is see there bitchass girls crying over some stupid artist. WHAT the fuck are you drying for, hes not dead or anything. He is human just like you. Fuckin RETARDS crying. Damn that shit just pissed me off how osme of the youth is so weak and shit..

funny, b/c as i was watching the marathon this weekend, i had the exact same thought. i remembered the first real world and that same thought crossed my mind when i saw the most recent ones....all the people have a certain look to them.

it is like the 'cast' of each season has a certain criteria to it. for example, one person from the south, one 18 year old, one gay guy, etc. it's all staged.

that story of hers just seemed too unreal... i just laughed because it seemed she had nothing else going for her in her life and that it becamse such a dangerous obsession. i just think they looked at the wrong people for mtv true life... and about the real world... irulan went to my high school so don't front

rofl, yeah my mom and my sister surrounded me when I came home. They were like man you hang out with some fucked up people!! So they recorded it and I never laughed so hard in my life. It's not even close to being like that, where do they find these people?

Why can't they just tag along with Arturo and Markus . Actually that would be kind of cool *sends e-mail to MTV*

i wish mtv would play freakin music videos instead of all their real world shows

real world is anything but real. producers push everyone to add drama to their charachter, forcing them to make an ass out of themselves

the only videos they play now are hip hop or popular rock bands

i hope a new company starts a music video channel to compete with them, i think mtv needs a swift kick in the ass

Well said. I don't watch MTV at all, the quality is too low for my taste. Let the sheep watch.

I am sorry if I insulted you in any shape or form, but you don't have to use that language.

Does DJ Sammy have a devoted following like Peters has, and of similar size?
And does he spin a marathon set every week?
Does he also draw crowds full of crackheads, more than other DJ's? Does he have stalkers?

Now Peters isn't our style (though I've heard about him playing PVD and Tiesto tracks sometimes), and I'm not a fan of his, but give the guy some respect and don't be hatin'. What did he do? Does he have much (if any) control over who attends?

whoever is leading latin america's mtv is doing
a fine job a substantial number of dance music
videos mixed with some pop regional productions
like "moenia" or bose are the only agenda in
their daily programming for the most part

tv networks simply broadcast what the majority
of their viewers like fortunately there are some
international alternatives via cable or internet

BREAKING NEWS!!! BREAKING NEWS!!! BREAKING NEWS!!!

B2K (my favorite band of all time) has broken up and Omarion will be dropping his first solo joint early this summer.

See MTV can be good for somethings.

That documentary was a total joke! Its just going to end up hurting our lifestyle. I think its been suggested before, but maybe a group of TA's should make their own documentary! Or better yet, a series of documentaries...
