Souncard Suggestions

Well, I have a Soundblaster 5.1 Live Gamer right now, but want to start using mixing software, like Tracktor, to make MIX cds for myself, and get the hang of working a mixer, etc, before I invest in actual equipment and wax.

Any suggestions?

current specs = P42.4, 512ddr, ati 9600 128ddr, dvd rom, cdrw

I have an audigy 2 platimum and I hate it more than words can describe. DONT buy from soundblaster.

from what i understand, all you want to spend money on (and not too much at that) is a 2nd soundcard and a mixer, correct? if so, just get yourself another cheap soundblaster, like a sblive or what not that will work w/ tractor and that should do the trick. you can always upgrade to the good stuff if and once you decide to do so.

Actually, I need a soundcard that will run Traktor with no problems with the live/headphone setup.

Traktor doesn't support 2 cards, so I need a good one.
