Exclamation NOT Pathogen - Dark skies (Track posted here at tranceaddict!)

The track I want Id'ed was released here on tranceaddict a while back, as Pathogen - Dark skies (Original mix). It is/was utterly brilliant IMHO A few days ago I bought the 12" for myself, and realized that it's the completely wrong track, none of the three tracks on the Pathogen EP matches the track released here...

So here we go. Give it your best shot

If you want to hear the REAL Pathogen - Dark skies (Original mix), you can find it here: http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kummenej/P...riginal Mix.mp3.

Full version of the track I want ID'd is here: http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kummenej/Unknown - Unknown.mp3

what the hell are you up to? the track you want is Dark skies, The only track in that 12" which has a thunderous bass and hard as hell basslines (can almost be classify as hard melodius trance)
This vinyl is not that oridinary info/logo (mix) vinyl you find all around, The A-Side is Dark Skies while The B-side is vanishing point and Point blank both together!. And the one you're faking is POINT BLANK! The One you one to be id-ed is DARK SKIES!

Are you serious you bought the right vinyl? This 12 inch was release on late october 2001... dude... This is my fravorite vinyl in all my collection. The original artist name is Leszek Gasiorek and its under Graham gold's records Good:As and the vinyl is painted black..

Anyway if ya want something like this try out Ampire - Singularity under Overdose Records or Eyes Of Tanatloc - Dreams Last Forever under a sublabel of the fallen Lightning records: XTC

Take it easy You are being quite confusing (not to mention sounding like I'm trying to deceive someone). The vinyl I have is this one http://www.discogs.com/release/76650. Have you listened to the full versions I linked? Here are full versions of the other two tracks on my 12":

http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kummenej/P...riginal Mix.mp3

http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kummenej/P...riginal Mix.mp3

As should be apparent, none of these theree are the track I'm looking for. What do you mean the one I'm "faking"? These are simply the tunes on my record, man. Dark skies on one side, and Point blank and Vanishing point on the other. Unfortunately I don't have the record right here in front of me just now (it's at a friend's place), but I'll check the details later today... It is indeed on good:as and is generally black in color (I bought it off HTFR)

I'm almost beginning to think this release has been printed twice, with different tracks on the A side.... Take a look here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&threadid=92967. This is the track I claim is the REAL "Dark skies". Again, it's not the tune I'm looking for...

So, what the "hell" are YOU up to?

OOps.. i didn't hear that sample... sorry about that. my mistake.

Point blank & Dark Skies sound the same and i don't think that song you want to be id-ed is vanishing point either

Posted by Silvermind on Jan-07-2004 07:19:

Which sample? Hehe, this isn't getting any closer to resolution... Could you listen to your record and tell me which tracks that I've posted here are on it? I mean, IF, as you say, the track I want ID'ed IS Dark skies, then what are the other tracks?? One of them must NOT be on your record...? So, what is it? Please help

Other than that, I've checked out my record. Same artist (Leszek Gasiorek), released 2001, only interesting thing I can find is that it says "For promo use only: GA031".

Also, I listened to the tracks you suggested. Not bad, although only the Phalanx remix of Ampire - Singularity comes close to the energy levels we're talking about here. IMHO, the track I want ID'ed is more in a 1996 goa style than anything else... Something like old Deedrah or Transwave... By the way, the theme in Singularity sounds a lot like Jurgen Vries

Attachment: TOID-Silvermind010604-idtrack.mp3 <--- this is the one that is not included on the 12 inch. I got a feeling that Graham Gold said something about dark skies being a new mix or a second mix. Well i just don't know where i got that rumour from. Maybe theres another record missing or unreleased? I will go check out some of those Not On Label under the name Dark Skies

Deedrah = Dj Dado (LOL!)

Btw y are there no other replies other then we two? nobody knows this title of such a spiritual song?

That's great Icesotope! Still need help with this one, so I'll bump it up

Posted by Silvermind on Jan-17-2004 16:52:

Confused

*bump*

Still need ID'ing!

Posted by Icesotope on Jan-22-2004 02:00:

Something tells me that this is a second version of Pathogen - Dark Skies

Posted by Silvermind on May-21-2004 18:59:

*bump* again. Decided to bring up this old thread again, as I'll be damned if I can get an ID on this amazing track!

Read the rules.
Don't bump this thread again.

Posted by Simcut on May-22-2004 11:17:

Thumbs down

I know you need the ID, but this is a joke mate.... read the forum rules, bumping aint allowed, especially continuous bumping that your doing!

Posted by Silvermind on May-22-2004 22:50:

Very sorry, Simcut. The no-bumping rule came a long time after this thread was started (you might notice there's been 4 months since the last post before my recent bump). I'll shut up now

Pathogen Confusion

Just discovered this thread. I am the artist behind the Pathogen 3-track EP, artist name (in this case) "Pathogen", among many others. The Pathogen EP was released on Graham Gold's "Good:As" label in 2001, catalog number GA031. The A-side had one track, "Dark Skies", and the B-side had 2 tracks, "Point Blank" and "Vanishing Point". There were no other mixes or remixes ever done or released of these tracks. The mp3 file at the start of this thread requesting to be Id'd, is NONE of these tracks, and is not one of mine. Unfortunately I can't help in Id'ing it, I don't recognise it.

If you would like to hear any of the 3 tracks on the Pathogen EP, you can hear them on my website:

www.controlzone.com/ar-pathogen.htm

Hope that helps.

LG.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation, Zelex! And, might I add, thanks for the Pathogen EP you released, it's really good

What I wonder is, does anyone know of a way to get hold of the guy that put up these tracks on this site back in the day? Maybe he knows what it is...
