Ever get scared

that one day you will wake up and forget all you have learnt?

because you know no matter if you still have it all written down its impossible to simply pick back up

in what way dude? Me personally I go by ear on what sounds right, and some stuff I've read on the internet (being forums, or web pages) so if I forgot everything I know I wouln't loose much besides its haven't been a year yet since I've started producing.. but I can hear a little difference between my first tracks and the latest...

Nope. I don't take that many drugs.

No, but I do sometimes wonder if there's still space left to cram new knowledge in.

I know for sure I know a lot of things audio related, yet I still feel I'm not even halfway. And sometimes I ask myself how the hell I'm gonna put all the rest in there.

Will I forget older stuff to make place for the new knowledge (kinda like a bucket you fill with water, after a while it starts spilling the excess).

Makes you think huh?

Would be cool if I could make a backup of my brain, do a clean format, and copy the things I use most, so I got new space to put new things. And then I'll still have a backup.

Yes, I know, it's been a tiring day today. Blame the teachers...

lol... never leave your house dude!

You don't need to know everything, just learn as you go. You'll either remember or pull out the information whenever you need to use it.

It's not like school where you cram all you can into your head for a test. Think of it more like the real world where you look up the number to the chinese restaurant when you need it, but you never remember it.

I forget stuff all the time.
There are some tricks I've done in my old tracks that I cannot remember anymore and I can't check how I did them since I lost the files...

Damie Mckeown -> PC backup helps you then

I don't worry about that although I know what you mean - I used to worry about that when I played the drums and could pull stuff off for the first time. Now I just find that whatever it is I know at the moment just comes forth from my guts like a burp.
