Damn Born Slippy made a come back. I don't know any track that makes a come back like that. It must be the dance track of the century.

The top 10 looked almost as exact as I had seen in my vision

but it has that chunk of cheese w/ the cross through it

NO GOURYELLA!!!

Whaddup wi'dat? Gouryella music must have been divinely inspired, there's no other explanation as to why that music is so PERFECT. And yet they leave it out. Gimps

Posted by Billabong on Jan-07-2004 22:10:

how was that list created !, man how did john 00 flemming come to be so low, even a deaf blind person would rate him above ian van dahl.

Posted by ga11agher on Jan-07-2004 23:24:

hmmmmm...
total commercialism.
i remember a time when mos used to be cool - i'd never consider buying any of there complilation cds now - aimed at the chart sales!

if ever there was a poll more meaningless and shite than dj mag's top 100 dj's then this is it

Posted by sleepydragon on Jan-07-2004 23:54:

We've had an incredible response to our Top 100 of Dance 2003 with over 75,000 votes sent to us from dance fans all over the world.

SUCKS.
they did say Dance not Trance. So they pretty much got the average 18 yr blondes who go to clubs to vote. so what do you expect.
to me it looks like they have a shitload pre 2003 tunes, no??? LOL. liars. DJ sammy is in the list like 4 times, plus other dairy products.

you have got to be kidding me with that list!?!!?! the top three, for example, are three of my most hated tracks of the year.

oh well, i long ago learned to take these lists with a grain of salt. they still never fail to amuse me though.

yeah i would really like for the people who think the list sucks to list and explain which tracks they think are cheese.
from what i am seeing is many comercial dance music releases in there that were high in the charts which is no wonder people vote it for them anyway. if they were so bad, dont you think they could have any place in the charts?
the first several tracks in the list i dont like much too, because there were overplayed this year and that doesnt mean at all they are stupid. actually the top 10 list is exactly as it should be. those really were the dance chart breakers this year.
and i really suggest you check all the tracks in the list since i happen to find some really good stuff in there. i actually think you are pretty ignorant people who like only trance and thats it. as i see the list is full with house music, no wonder you dont like it.
stuff like Ian Van Dahl and DjSammy isnt that present at all. just few of them eurotrance stuff there.
you people need seriosly to start paying attention to other music then trance.

Amen to that

UNKLE - In A State (Sasha Remix) should have been a lot higher. It was really popular for a while, I remember it being the top selling record on several online stores, ones that weren't even particularly oriented towards trance.

I wouldn't expect much better though. I mean, Satisfaction #1? Ugh. Horrible list.

16. DJ Sammy - Boys of Summer

what a load of crap
