What does referrals mean when I view peeps profiles?

When you open a TA account it asks if you were referred - the number next to referrals is the number of people who have said they were referred by that user.

Yep - when signing up, new members have the opportunity to nominate a user that referred them to the forums.

Check out the number of referrals that Swamper has
