Return of the King Gayness

For those who saw it.... who else tought that the little kiss from Frodo on Sam's head at the end was just a little tad...

Posted by ))the source(( on Jan-08-2004 01:19:

LoL! Ya, I was totally wondering about that myself when I saw it. I kept thinking, "Does anyone else find this a bit wierd in here?".

Posted by zarathustra on Jan-08-2004 01:37:

Yes, I found the hobbits to be quite gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Posted by ))the source(( on Jan-08-2004 01:41:

It is probably this littl scene that will create the plot for Lord of the Rings 4...The Love of a Good Hobbit.

Posted by daydreamer on Jan-08-2004 01:42:

my sentiments exactly

just don't let those
OMG I DIE the movie was so cool
i read the books ten times already
i dream of being a hobit one day
peepz hear you

they were ready to linch me when i said that.

Posted by wienerschnitzel on Jan-08-2004 01:43:

i found the books and the movies to be full of homoeroticism... diffrent times, i guess?

Posted by infinity HiGH on Jan-08-2004 01:55:

It's standard in European cultures for men to give a kiss on the cheek to eachother. And if you look at what Sam and Frodo went through, its not that odd that for him to give Sam a kiss on the forehead.

Not meant as an insult, but its funny that you guys complaining about it are all North Americans

Posted by ))the source(( on Jan-08-2004 01:59:

It wasn't just the kiss on the forehead! It was the longing stare that Froddo gazed into Sam's eyes.

you guys are still in highschool right?

Posted by mto on Jan-08-2004 02:26:

Take your insecurities somewhere else. Idiots.

Posted by starglider on Jan-08-2004 02:27:

Well I mean, come on, Frodo was leaving his friends forever, what did you expect? Him to gave Sam props and tell him to keep it real?

Posted by zarathustra on Jan-08-2004 02:40:

What about the scene where they (all four hobbits) are all jumping on the bed while Gandalf watches. I apologize for finding that unnecessary.

Posted by twizta on Jan-08-2004 03:01:

question here

howcome frodo and gandalf got on the boat? and the elf guy as well?

lolol

i thought the same thing, but i actually thought they were gonna end up fucking by the end of part 3.. at least it would've made the film SOMEWHAT interesting..

*sigh*

Posted by montie on Jan-08-2004 06:10:

all the hobbits are gay lovers.
sam getting maried at the end is just a front

j/k

its just trying to show the closeness and happyness of the friendship of the hobbits.

on a side note

i wanna be an elf

Was cracking how Sam's too revering towards Frodo and how Merrin's really a bisexual jokes while watching movie with sister. Sister wasn't too pleased.

Also wanted to shout 'GO HOBBIT LOVE!' at the end of the movie, but feared the lynch mob.

Actually, I am 24 and have very few insecurities. Homophobia is definitely not one of them.

Posted by arctic on Jan-08-2004 13:34:

Seriously, who cares?

If you've ever read the books then you'll know that Frodo & Sam are not gay, not that it should matter anyhow.

Why does it matter if they're gay? (Which they aren't, Sam gets married).

Posted by Moongoose on Jan-08-2004 14:18:

If they wore gay that would be an interesting side pllot in the otherwise boing movie

Bah, admittedly the books were better, but the movie was far from boring.

Posted by Moongoose on Jan-08-2004 14:34:

I played games on my phone all the way trough the second ( i got a free ticket so i said what the hell ill give it a try maybe its better), as the third goes im waiting for a good rip to come out or that someone buys me a ticket

Posted by arctic on Jan-08-2004 14:45:

I really enjoyed them, we just have different tastes I suppose.

<3 LOTR.

Posted by Pheobius on Jan-08-2004 17:40:

There definitely something goin down with Sam, i think any idiot would realise that, but i hate ppl who criticse Frodo for bein a pussy, the whole point is that he was being weighed down by a force that none of us could imagine, a force that (edited coz it would spoil it for someone who hasn't seen it yet- but you know what i mean)so don't go bitchin

Posted by nchs09 on Jan-08-2004 17:49:

Rasta

they were probably high.. they were smoking the whole movie
