Saving infomations online.

I'm tend to do research online and whenever I find articles that I find of interest or pertinent I like to save it onto my computer.
My question is what is the difference in saving it as: Webpage, complete and Web Archive? I like to save infomation as much as possible. Not only for hardcopy purposes but as for digital blueprint. Enlighten me please Any other tips on this subject is appreciated.

i know that when you save it as a complete webpage, it saves the page + an extra folder with images and all, so you can open it offline

you can add the webpages to your bookmarks and make them available offline, that should do the task too.
