Trance Energy 2004
Hello. Me and some friends are thinking about going to Trance Energy, some information would have been greatly appreciated
It`s a shame they don`t teach dutch in Norwegian schools!
Some questions..
First of all, where is Jaarbeurs Utrecht? Is it far from Amsterdam? Train connection? osv..
How big is it? Capasity? May seem like stupid questions but i don`t understand much from the site
Thanks!
Amsterdam CS - Utrecht CS (Central Station) is 35km by train (10,60 Euro, get a WEEKEND RETOUR both way ticket)
Jaarbeurs is next to the train station (follow the crowd)
Cap: 30.000 people
there are a lot of this kind of topics lately. this what i said in a few of them:

Well I am a Dance valley junky so if i was you I would go to dance valley Dance Valley is held in a place called velsen near amsterdam. The mainstage is situated on a giant hill. I think it is about 50 meters high. The dj booth is on the lowest point. When you stand on top of the hill you have a really great view on the terrain and partypeople. ![]() When you walk to the right from this picture position there is a giant plateu. There is the hard house area If you look at those mainstage pictures you will see on the background the tents. There are about 13 tents with each a different musicstyl. Usually there are about 2 - 3 out door areas. Mainstage, hardhouse and this year for the first time global stage hosted by carl cox & friends Global Stage.Dance valley is during day time but when the sun goes down you will get this kind of pictures: summer 2004 is the 10 edtion of dance valley: what can you expect: date: august 7 between 60 000- 70 000 partypeople Great line up. Dj mag top 40 wil be almost completely performing. also there will be a few suprises. Special liveacts en djs just for DV edition 10. The full line up will be announced in may i think. nice party crowd. nice atmosphere hopefully great weather Mysteryland is also nice party, but line up is in my opinion not as good as dance valley. And in the 2002 when I went to dance valley and mysteryland the DV-crowd-and-vibe was a lot better. Mysteryland is also near amsterdam. |

| the best time to visit holland is in the summer. Best weather, best partys If you like the harder side of dance music go to: Defqon 1 If you like the commercial stuff and want to be entertaint go to: Sensation (white and/or black version) If you want the best en biggest dance festival with a lot of areas/styles go to: Dance Valley (summer 2004 10th edition of dance valley, it is going to be huge. 60 000 people), Mysteryland is second If you want the friendlyest atmosphere go to: Extrema If you want just TECHNNOOOOOO go to: Awakenings In germany you have also LoveParade. Make sure you go a few days. In germany you have Nature One. a 3 days during festival wiht a camping In Spain: IBIZAAAAAAa. Best clubs, best djs but very expensive So it al depends on how much money you want to spend. But for the best big party expierence go to DANCE VALLEY. Simply the best!! http://dancevalley.udc.nl/partypics_dv2003/ here are the party pics from last year. If you visit holland for 10 days. Arriving on a thursday you will be able to go to 2 partys. Dance Valley 2004 unofficial date is 7 august. |

| Dance Valley (2004 is the 10th edition, it is going to be huge, 16 areas, 60 000 people) Mysteryland (great festival location, nice decors) Love Parade (Just one of the best partys) Nature One (3 days of partying) the 4 partys i mentioned above are each 1000000000000 times better then sensation. EDIT or trance energy EDIT |
You can check the photo's on the side (foto's in dutch), might give you an idea about the capacity.
Kinda stupid indeed ID&T creates the site in english and puts the important information about how to get there only in dutch.
btw lol dancevalley is like 6 months away from now ?

Or Mayday
That's in 3 months
Belgian and German edition
Mayday? Events in Netherlands are much better than in Germany!
Cant recommend to visit Mayday in Germany if you have the chance for a party from ID-T or other promoters in netherlands like extrema, impulz or dance valley. Just a tip!
LOL
a dutchman who is saying that german partys are better and a german who is saying dutch partys are better

My first ID&T party was back in 1992
Mayday is always a step ahead when it comes to new developments (sound and vision), and the i like the variety of dj's (japan, europe, south-america etc)
Btw: ID&T do a hell of a job with Innercity and Mysteryland
There are 5 of us headin over from Ireland for TE, we are bookin the tickets tonite, hopefully it is not sold out....

Nice one, sounds fairly straight forward.
Trance Energy will be my first big event! Does anyone of you have any good advice about going to such events? For example: i heard the coins for the drinks are about E3,50? So drink a lot before going to the event..
Tnx,
