Guilty Pleasures: Do You Secretly Listen To Cheese Behind Closed Doors?

how many of you trancers, prog addicts, etc secretly crank up some Trance Party vol. 1 when nobody's around?

i admit it i'm guilty, but hey, a little "Toca's Miracle" & "Look At Us Now" here n there never hurt anybody... or did it?

I'm sorry, but Fragma is just gay. Maybe some remixes of Ian Van Dahl once in a while, when your in a "dancy" mood.

Posted by noikeee on Jan-10-2004 22:51:

maybe a little here and there, but i try to stay away from it.

When Wippenberg or Hemstock & Jennings get hold of Ian Van Dahl I have no objections.

Fragma - Say That You're Here

I liked a lot cheese, but with time my tastes changed and now my style is trance and some prog. However I still listening some cheese for remember my beginning in the EDM, but not as before. So nothing against with cheese.

HEH

yea back in the day i liked the cheezey shit, now it kinda makes me sick though..

Posted by Djs-storm on Jan-22-2004 01:43:

I do like some good classic eurodance tunes every now and then.

Maybe cause it has been the only type of dance music played in my area on the radio. Also, it brings back memories of the 90's. Still love trance more though

I used to blast Vengaboys in my dorm room all the time.
can't get much cheesier than that!

Posted by benjamin on Jan-22-2004 20:53:

a little sometimes, like Klea - Tic Toc (Magik Musik remix)

Posted by sleepydragon on Jan-22-2004 23:56:

no way even if i did i wouldnt admit to it on here

Posted by Tranc3 on Jan-23-2004 05:51:

I started out listening to Alice Deejay and ATB, but now when I hear cheese I cringe, it's sort of an instinctual reaction now.

So no, I don't listen to cheese.

Posted by DjSimonB on Jan-24-2004 01:16:

I don't listen to it, I hate all that crap. If I liked it I'd be honest, no point in pretending just to be cool or whatever.

Posted by BadBadNeil on Jan-24-2004 21:37:

Why not? Why should someone not listen to a song they like because some people on a forum call it cheese even though they probably loved the songs when they first came out. If you only listen to what other ppl say is "good" then your a bandwagon jumper or sellout, whatever you wanna call it.

dj sammy!!!!!!!!

Posted by Roy123 on Jan-27-2004 20:53:

Although i am a true hater of cheesy trance especially DJ SAMMY and LASGO ( although she is so HOT ) i mus admit that i do like hearing ATB especially ATB - FIELDS OF LOVE , i also think that ALICE DJ had couple of decsent songs back then like Better of Alone etc .... Ian Van Dahl - Try or Castles in The Sky are not bad tracks , they r quite OK IMHO :0

So it depends, Sammy and Lasgo are Forbidden although some Alice Dj , Atb and Ian van Dahl are pretty much OK and Listenable , i also listen to them once in a while hehehe

Posted by vmc on Jan-27-2004 23:34:

I generally avoid Ian van Dahl type stuff but I admit to listening to harder clubb style or Groove Coverage alike tracks from time to time.

Posted by ludeboy12 on Jan-28-2004 07:54:

hell fuck no......i only put on party 93.1 during globaldjbroadcast....

Posted by crchingtiger on Jan-29-2004 00:49:

Posted by CraSHer[UK] on Jan-29-2004 01:24:

i wouldn't stick it on a winamp playlist, but sometimes dont switch over on the radio

Posted by everything0 on Jan-31-2004 05:03:

sure. its a gateway genre

Posted by Trance Instinct on Jan-31-2004 18:23:

lololol i dont listen to cheese, cheese is everything that i dont like so ....

Posted by physe on Feb-01-2004 08:28:

Never, if I consider it to be cheese why would I listen to it? Besides, who decides on what cheese is? What makes a song cheese. The only definition of cheese that I have is what I consider to be cheese, not anyone else.

Posted by sharpeye00 on Feb-02-2004 02:38:

mmm. nothing sure beats some macarena or sandstorm. ya know! i'll put some macarena in right now!. o man this is some good shit, man i miss this stuff! here comes my favorite part:

"Now dont you worry bout my boy friend
the boy whos name is Nicorino
I dont want him, can't stand him
he was no good so I - hahaaaa
Now, come on, what was I supposed to do ? "

what a bitch!

Posted by colonelcrisp on Feb-03-2004 14:55:

my name is mark........ and *sigh* i am a cheese addict.....

Although my love of trance exceeds all others. i do have a couple of choice slices of brie and colbert in my record case. including
ian van dahl - will i, aurora - ordianary world, pulsedriver - din daa daa... to name a few. but you have to admit. sometimes your in that cheesy dance mix 94 type mood and you just gotta....
