knowing your tracks
k..I think that knowing my tracks is a great idea..then I know the builds, the drops, when would be a good time to mix all the other fun stuff.
so heres the question. If I wanted to rip from my vinyl to computer, how would I do so. first off I would plug it into my soundcard, but from where? the deck or the mixer? And is Cool Edit all I need to record it?
I wanna rip a track to share with all of u. Ive never heard anybody but me talk about it(Al Janaero-Energize) so I wanna up it to see what u think, cuz I love that crazy track!!!
Just plug your MIXER's line out to your sound card line in and record it...
so do I just use Cool Edit to record it?
yep..i use cool edit to record my mixes/vinyls.
sounds good to me!!!
you can also use steinberg's "Clean 2.0". let's you record and clean it of crackling and other noise. But Cool Edit will do.
What does this have to do with the thread title
?
im a retard and dont know which one the sound card is... but can i do the same from a stereo output, say record from a tape deck or minidisc player to my CPU input?
and then of course use cool edit
i record my mixes on Mini Disc then i wire that to my computer......and i use Sound Forge 5.0 to record
works for me
