Sasha is on Fire - Kiss FM Set Dec 26 2003

Man this guy amazes me, this is the best 1 hour of music i heard all year, he brought me back to the GU 13 Ibiza days where he had that balaeric feel to his music. This set just does that takes you on a journey to the Balearic Islands.

Its a 1 hour recording from his set in Beirut on Dec 6 and he have gave it to John Digweed to play in his 2nd hour of his KISS fm radio show.

Highly highly recommended set, it will blow you away. This one has been in my car since last week, i cant get enough of it.

yeah i haven't heard it yet but definitely eager to hear the new space manouvres and also that Rowan Blades Chris Lake tune...its good to see Rowan getting back into it after breeder broke up...

something tells me that 2004 is gonna be a great year for sasha...

Not only it has a killer tracklist, the mixing of this set showcases Sasha's legendary skills as a DJ. He's definitely back to his top form.

everything is perfect, exept from the 2nd track, of which I hate the vocals... good music, but these vocals suck IMO :/

I got this one a couple of days ago, and this set is killer. The tracklist is great and theyre are some new tunes in there. I love this set, Sasha definitely ripped Kiss a new one.

dude, the Rowan Blades & Chris Lake tune is an absolute killer.. i can't stop listening to it ever since i heard Digweed play it live last week. It's in my sig too! very melodic and driving.... i love it!

WOW!!

This set is absolutely massive!!!!!! Every track in this set is killer (Track 3, Your Light and the Rowan Blades track are the best though) and I agree with the original post, it almost takes me back to the GU013 era. The mixing is absolutely phenomenal; Sasha was in a REAL groove that night, and when he is, nobody can touch him.

Mind-blowing.

Damn, I was so pissed that I was gonna miss it when I found out. I was stuck in Chi over xmas break. Good thing it wasn't too cold this year.

*Bah, I just heard it and the mix I heard was the 27th in Atlanta. I haven't been able to get the mix from 12/26 to see if it's the same or not.

no, it was broadcast on KissFM on the 26th. This was recorded in Beirut, Lebanon a week before.
