WTF is that???

I'm usually not this critical but wtf is with that website?

The music looping is aweful and the links on the left for the events are apparently 1 x 1 pixel in size...

Is this a case where a thousand monkies with a thousand computers over a thousand days created this thing??

System's site still does that too, doesn't it?

I remember System posting a thread on tribe, asking how people would like to see the website improved and EVERYONE said they hated how the system window would go full screen....good job on the listening skills, system

Yeah it does and its quite annoying. Web design basics - give the user the option when it comes to something like fullscreen. They have an option called "Surf Internet" which just opens up another browser window which really isn't the way to do it. I can appreciate the nice look they've given the site and how it probably looks better in fullscreen but it should still be an option and not something you're forced into.

The site is new so im sure the content will increase. A web site does not make a club.

Amazing website with great reviews and service.

Granted the club might be kick-ass, have an amazing sound system and model-like bartendars, etc., etc. but if I knew absolutely nothing about the club and came across that website, I wouldn't be inclined to go...

Agreed........a business is essentially run the same from top to bottom......if poor forethought can be found on the "easy" things like a simple, concise website then consider the woes ahead for the big things.

I AM, however, inclined to believe that due to how new Boa is that many kinks..including the website...will have to be ironed out as in any new venture.

I can admit, its a HORRIBLE layout....but you also need to remember that the club hasnt even had its official grand opening yet! It happens to be tomorrow. I was there the first night (with a few others) and was blown away by my experience there, and the sound was INCREDIBLE (just wait until its completed). The only information i need to know from this club is WHO THEY GOT SPINNIN! And i know Satoshi is there the 21st of February....good enough for me.

The point was if you're going to make impressions why not start off right?
Why give the go ahead with a hack version of something that's more grand?
I'm not saying the website IS a reflection of what the club IS,
I'm saying that the website SHOULD be a reflection of what you WANT the club to convey to your customers; just some basic business 101...
(besides the fact that it took the Grade 3 class the whole day to create it...)

lol.. same here. My biggest complaint is the events calendar on the side. It takes forever to load and the links aren't mouse-friendly.

You could also use the reverse analogy that suggests that Boa decided to save their money to bring in great Dj's by stealing from the website fund. If Boa is going to thrive in TO, it will be by word of mouth and not the quality of their website.
