drug abbreivations??

ok what are the names of the main drug abbreivations??
I know cocaine is also called a 'charlie'. I think Speed is also called 'base'(i cant remeber what they said).
Anyways if someone could help compile a list of the names it would be helpful!!
Im not to street wise when it comes to drug names and it would help to know what the hell the drug is some ppl talk to me about, rather that just idoly nodding along pretending i know what the hell there going on about, i actually wanna know!!!

In refrence to base there .. when spoken of here in the UK its more likely to be the amphetamine .. a more powerful form of speed .. rather then of cocaine ..

- buchali dana (spelling nowhere near correct, but translates to bad boys - Irish)

base is a refined form of speed, amphetamine suplhate or sumthing, which is about 3 times the strength and comes in in the form of an oily putty to just plan dried out powder.

According to JP's link it seems as tho it is .. I guess it could stem from freebasing and there seems to be a few related terminologies that seem to link it to cocaine eg base head and based out ..

i think it must be just peopel getting confused with the names down the line and them sticking.

base is called base coz funilley enough, its a base. heh.
