Wedding Bells!

OMG, MY BROTHER GOT ENGAGED!!!!

This is how it happened:

They came home from work and my brother suggested they go down to Citywalk for drinks bc it was their three year anniversary. So they got all dressed up and my brother suggested that they go to a small restaurant. She protested saying it was too expensive bla bla bla. He told her that they should just go, see if they would seat them. (He had made plans BEFORE CHRISTMAS with the chef and reservations). So they got there and my brother said reservations for two.

She looked at him, burst out laughing and said "You bastard! Telling me maybe there will be a seat!". They went and sat down and courses just started coming without them ordering and she had no clue what was going on. My brother gave her some story and she believed it. Once they were all done the chef came out and said "I have one last thing I'd like you to try, if you don't mind". So she said okay.

He brought out a piece of cake with a huge flower on it. My brother got on his knees, pulled out the ring from the flower and said "This is what I would like you to try. Will you marry me?" and put the ring on her finger!!!!!

I never knew my brother was so romantic! I'm going to tell my future husband to take tips from him!

Sounds nice. Shit I wish I would be more romantic.. I do romantic things only to please women, it has hardly any effect on me...

that was a pretty good proposal hehehe...nice little story

i try and be romantic but its hard sometimes...

plus its kinda disheartening when you do something you think is special or romantic, but you don't get much of a response...or the response you were looking for...

My brother also proposed about a month ago...
He brought her to niagra falls, pretending they were just going there to take her little cousins. they got there, went on a horse & carriage, stopped at a gazebo (sp?) right next to the falls, and he pretended to get down on his knees to take a pic but he took out ther ring & asked her to be his wife. it was a beutiful thing, i can't wait till the open bar at the wedding.

and True that about the open bar! Whole lot of drunk Polaks! Woot woot!

Glad that by sharing my brother's awesomeness I could make everyone smile just a little bit. It's nice to know there are still some romantic people in the world!

We were all seated around the big table at my mum's and we were all taking turns, standing up and saying what we each had to be thankful for during the year. He stood up and said that he was thankful that he had met me and then, in front of my entire family, he turned and asked me to marry him. How could I say no?
