Just a question about the Guv...

...ok so i went last nite on saturday...and well i was not impressed...people wit glow sticks, horrible dancing E heads, and the music was just hard trance and nothing amazing...like is it like that every weekend? Im ignorant because ive never been there before...its just i laughed all nite long...boring, i yawned like all nite. Anyway my question is, is there a better nite to go there on, or should i just go for special events...??? No disrespect...

Because i expected more from straight venues...and it was umm...just maybe the wrong nite to go...ive been the the guv for gold club series things...but that was awhile ago...

You cant dance at the guv it seems unless youre on E (thats what it seemed to me)...and i never am...so i was just disappointed thats all...and nobody was funky dressed, guys were all dancing like retards, and just no atmosphere...im just used to different kinds od club nites maybe...no disrespect...it just wasnt worth me breaking a sweat...

Dont tell him to give it a rest....hes simply describing his experience at these clubs. Alot of the comments he made i agreed with, others not so much. But bottom line, he wasnt bashing....just commenting. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

god damn I hate those things...whistle blowers are the worst and so is that TUNE sign that has the air horns on it. The sign itself is cool but damn...when Tiesto was in town last year at the Guv, I got one of those horns right in the ear and fuck, it was ringing for 2 days after.

Aria was my best clubbing experience. The crowd isnt that attractive so maybe that's why you didn't enjoy it, but it's a crowd that knows their trance!! Everyone is so into the music that you think they're all on E but when you ask, they tell you that they're sober. I've made some great friends at that club.

No. I'm not the ass master that complained about Aria cuz there was no alcohol. Check with Adrian.

My complaint with aria is the resident dj and the vibe of the shitty crowd. If it wasnt for Marco V that whole weekend would of been a write off.

The resident dj is good at times but very redundant.

HAHAHAHAH, ya right. Sorry I have to disagree with this statement even though it is your opinion. I've been to Aria about 5 times now and most people there are not sober. I also had about 4 people on one night come up and ask me who Danny Howells was, might be different with Trance DJ's but if they are there for the music they should at least know who the DJ is.

I personally like Aria just because it is something different, who cares who has the better club and all that shit, some of us do it for fun.

i disagree. aria and stereo are both far superior to the clubs in to (exclding boa b/c i've never been there- so i can't really say).

if your friend said that there is nothing special about aria, then he/she obviously "didn't get it."

I didn't encounter many sober ppl. there were some that were only on speed, but most were right fucked when i was there.
