Tranceaddicts becoming a minority on TOTA?
It's going to be interesting to see what the result of this poll will be.
Graham in my opinion this poll is misleading because there is NO option for both. I like both...trance and everything else equally. therefore I cannot choose one or the other...
I listen to trance, breaks, techno, more breaks, house, even more breaks and more trance. I've found over the years that I got tired of just pure trance 24.7 but I still consider myself a tranceaddict at heart tho.
No, I don't think it's misleading, I'm giving you one choice. If you're neutral, don't vote.
This is simply false.
Look at the roll call counts for Trance events and roll call counts
for techno/prog events.
Trance events win hands down !
this place is not strictly trance anymore.... it's a mix of
everything - and it's great.
this website has become the definitive place to come to for EDM; the music, the artists, the events.
if it was strictly trance i probably wouldnt be here as much.
EDIT: this site was started when trance was in everyone's pants...
with chaging styles, new sounds coming into the EDM scene, the focus switched from trance to prog to techno to prog to trance and the biggest DJ's in the world will be different from one year to the next (except this year's FIXED poll)
still a fucking hard question imo.

That's big names tho
I'm not saying it is a hard question for others but I just cannot decide which of the two. I'm sitting on the fence and cannot decide.

even tho the roll call threads for trance events might be bigger, liek i said before, alot of the saem people on those roll calls come other for other events too... it's the strictly trance people who stay home
i think most TA's like all EDM, and like to party with other TA's
It is misleading still. I doubt you'd find the MAJORITY of people on this site still that ONLY listen to one type of genre. (whether it be prog or trance or techno). I am neutral that's why I haven't voted.
That's not what I'm asking. I'm asking what is your FAVOURITE

If prog is in the trance category, then trance wins. If its in the other category, then the other category wins.
Prog definately does NOT go with trance in this case
WHen I say trance, I mean the generalization that non trance addicts have of trance.
ie. hands in the air omg it's Rank 1 - Breathing omg i cant believe tiesto played that!!!
That kind of trance.

I don't care who wins this battle. As long as you are passionate about what you listen to and have someone to share it with ...whether it be one person or the rest of Toronto...you have reason to be happy!
