hybrid vs max graham
who is better to go see on friday?
i typically dont listen to anything proggy, so i dont know which will be better. but theres no glow, i need to go to a club, and its not possible for me to head up to nyc twice a month. bars every weekend gets boring.
What do you think / who are you going to see?
mAx!
the two main things to consider:
- what do you like more: breaks or prog? Also, Hybrid is just gonna be a DJ-set, not a live-PA.
- which club would you like better? I've never been inside Five, but the crowd there is going to be older and a little dressier, vs. Cubik's more raver-esque crowd. As for the venues, Nation is Nation, and I dunno what Five is like.
Actully I seen mad ravers go to FIVE. I been going there for a month now since is it free. Its not that big but it is pretty cool inside. Actully there is no dress code for FIVE and I seen alot of ravers in there
but yeah check it out if you like

I would personally go see Max Graham over a Hybrid dj set. Hybrid is awesome live but ive seen them perform a dj set in the past and it was a disappointment to say the least. Max Graham - Shoreline is all i have to say
I think I would say Max Graham too, if you are 21+
Cubik has been pissing me off lately
if you could get Max to drop Conjure One - Redemption (Max Graham's Dead Sea Mix), omggggggggggggggggggggg
my head would explode
Both Five and Nation are owned by John Boyle of Primacy.

Five provides a much more intimate setting, but still affords plenty of room to dance. It caters to a more mature crowd than does Cubik, but it's still raver friendly so you don't really have to grow up just yet.
if hybrid is live, theres no question that you MUST see them. if not, the choice is up to you
nikka, yo sig B a little to big dare.....
hybrid-finished symphony ........mmmmmmmmmmm
ive never been to five so i will check that out.
who else is going? i think there is a thread for this already, i should probably just look there...

I'm not a fan of Hybrid's DJ sets... but that's me... just not my flavor. I would love to hear Max live though, his promos and mixes I've heard are quality.
Well I never seen Hybrid perform live and haven't check them out. Well I been hearing stuff about Max Graham is more in progressive stuff. So yeah I guess I will be checking out Max Graham this weekend. I really hope Dan Sampson is the opener. GO DAN!!!!!!!
Well hope to see some TA's there. Well Peace out everyone
