Let's get to the heart of it here...

Okay, I think we've had enough posts and polls insinuating it, so let's just cut to the quick and find out what we really think about...the United F'n States of America! Yes, the options are broad and non-specific, but so are many opinions here.

Oh man this poll is goiing to be brutal ... you should have just had 3 options:

Hate with extreme prejudice
Hate with casual indifference
Hate with mild irritation

yeah, you can say alot about how the US fuXXors other countries with no impunity, but you never realy hear that much about like what bill gates is doing for the fight against AIDS...

when i saw the Dalai Lama speak in portland in august of 2001, he had alot to say about US foreign policy. about how it needs an overhaul, and a more compasionate view. i will never forget that...

always try to remember: wherever you go, there you are.>> just because you live in a country doesnt mean you have to be patriotic, just that your actions in a democratic nation have a direct effect on how other countries view yours. in other words, we need to be more world-centric if we actualy want world peace.

or we can just terrorize other countries to make them co-operate, like we have been doing ever since WWII. anybody know anything about the naval blockade imposed on Japan; BEFORE Pearl Harbor?

hmm tough question, i tend to disagree the majority of the time, but i like you anyway

I tend to agree with you most of the time (what I voted), yet the issues I disagree on are quite important to me (Kyoto, the international court thingy, one kind of moral on goods entering the US - another on the ones leaving, disrespecting the UN etc.).

- I go in the middle, it balances out.

My vote of confidence would go up if we took out Kim Jong-Il with a precision guided weapon. The generals in charge there wouldn't really care; he's just a nuisance.
