Talking Finally

Yeah man I got 4 hour+ set Live @ Berlin from that goobert PVD an it was okay. Shit most of those tracks where plain. I probaly will never spend another ticket to see him. His album only 3 1/2 trakcs that where good. But damn 2 of those tracks where played out.

I see no big deal in going to waste money on him and end like another pencil in the crowd. Sheesh I need air not heat. Plus they way PVD acted with the crowd at Glow, I felt like smacking a few times and say What fucki is your problem you conceit bastard. I am happy you made this thread Brian. I feel better now. I really wish I can smack him. Anyone got a problem with my post bring on ******s

I agree his sets are getting crappy, but on the other hand, there arent many tracks out right now that are that great. Hes trying to spin new stuff, and hes forcing tracks out - good or bad. But I am surprised he didnt play Alba, Introspection, Sunday Afternoon, Return to Innocence, Free Fall, Connective...

Posted by AddictedTo1982 on Jan-15-2004 02:37:

Jester

OMG it seems the Dyk is really a Dyk. playing them old tracks. I mean they still rule but play a classic once in a way whilr. Wow he didn't repeat any now did he lol .

One more thing STOP These fuckin PVD Threads theres to the EDM scene than PVD.

Posted by EnigmaT on Jan-15-2004 02:38:

haha, looking at that playlist, this is actually one of the better Fritz sets. Some of them can get really boring.

pvd is overrrated but SG is NOT supposed to be like ASOT.

this is why i don't trash it. it's just a show where he plays what he likes and sometimes throws new stuff in. the best part of it is actually the interviews and the silly stuff he says. but that's usually in german

but don't get me wrong, i am not a pvd whore anymore;

Smiling Frog

NOW I WANNA HIT PVD WITH TEEBAT hheheheheheheeheheheheeheheheheeh

Posted by Vlad on Jan-15-2004 03:06:

Well first off, Im definitely not "gaga" over PvD, I do enjoy his presence though - although lately his track choice and sets have sucked, he is still one of the best DJs out there.

And as per my comment about newer stuff and newer tracks, I noticed there were quite a few classics, but maybe that implies the fact that hes alittle limited to whats new and what he likes to spin. Also, hes trying to spin different stuff, we can all predict - at this point - whats hes gonna spin and when... so a change was inorder, but this is alittle drastic. I guess he just got sick of all the new stuff, and thought a set filled with classics would give alittle nostalgia.

Posted by AddictedTo1982 on Jan-15-2004 03:11:

Wink

I don't know I heard great stuff about him in 2001 and in 2002 but now in 2003 he sucked major ass and the new album didn't even help also. He went vocal nutty this year. Too much crap now I'll be back I have my teebat ready hehehehehee

He played a lot of old tracks because he says he was playing all the tracks people requested him to play at Casino in december... at least that's what he says....

he's just playing requests..

sorry about the threadjack.

his radio Fritz shows have never been like the majority of his live sets...most of the time they have a lot more obscure tracks, and can get very housey.

Having said that, I agree with Brian: this tracklist is a fucking joke!
I've heard of playing a classic here and there but jesus!
and the few new tracks that he does have on there are completley lame

in defense of the tracks above, paul took requests via SMS for his vandit night in december. these tracks were requested for the evening, and he played them again in his radio show.

soundgarden shows are all over the place - he plays soo many different tracks, and some he even says sucks and would never play again. it's hard because we don't understand what he says. greg translates a lot for me.

soundgarden is something i tune into on wednesdays for background noise while at work and for something different to listen to. some tracks are great, others make me want to puke, but it's always been that way.

if anyone tuned in yesterday, i think the show was excellent. many new tracks played, and i really enjoyed them all. looking forward to a fresh pvd for 2004...

exactly caryn, the show yesterday was superb.
i think pvd changed this year...he's coming up with many new stuff.
Paul really surprised us at GMF, it was this paul '99 style. *memories*
Hehe i bet he will own ya all at ROXY and WMC!
