HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!! ... ok. lol , just had to get that out. its one of those tunes that makes my imagination wonder.. im in a dark, dark club with trillions of others just dancing my ass off, not for others, but just for my pure enjoyment. im made of purple glitter. do any of you see colors when you listen to a certain track ?

what rock was i hiding under in 2003? i can't believe i missed this song! well, i discovered it in 2004 and it shall always be a favorite of mine.

Posted by Billabong on Jan-16-2004 14:02:

Thanks for the review mate

i don't get it.

sorry, that might be because i'm used to Bjork - Joga, where the "emotional landscape" sample is taken or maybe i need to hear it in a club, but it doesn't do much for me

Cheers 4 the nice comments folks. This track was never going to see light of day (emotional soundscape), as I made it for my girlfriend, but somehow I got talked into putting it out (by a very wise man Pat Hurley) and hey presto a totally unexpected, runaway hit.
The tune has been repressed so many times, I`m not sure of the quality of all the pressings, but I do apologise if some of them were bad, but these matters are out of my hands.
I hope I can continue to entertain, and I can only say, watch this space.
There is a new DirtyBass Records release due out soon, plus I am releasing on Humanoid 3 and also have a secret project up my sleeve.
Cheers to tribal editor for pointing me to this site, I am always humbled when I hear people enjoying what I do.

The Music is What it is all about for me.

Big Love
Steve D-Bass

Haha, that's my dad's name! Anyway, welcome to TA...always nice to see producers around here.

Armin played this song in A State Of Trance (ep. 102, Part 2, Track 10)

He said it was Hammer & Thongs, but it was Emotional Soundscape ofcourse. Amazing track!

you should know, Steve, that Sasha really really put NYC in a frenzy when he dropped your track at Avalon (Limelight) on New Year's Eve....everyone had their hands in the air, holding eachother, real trippy beat in there, thre us into overdrive....such hot shit! nice work....thanks for your comments on here, it means a lot to us AS WELL to be able to congratulate the producers themselves on a job well done, rather than us just chatting amongst ourselves. keep up the good work
