Posted by st3nc on Jan-16-2004 02:43:

im going for the eagels, but in reality they are too inconsistant. and the pats colts game will hopefully be awesome, cant say which team will win. hopefully pats casue payton manning pisses me off.

RAIDERS NUMBER 1!!1

Posted by BeatFreak on Jan-16-2004 03:10:

I've been saying the Colts since they beat the living hell out of my Falcons. They are unstoppable. If you give Peyton any time at all he will pick teams apart. He has the best WR in the league also, (well him or Moss.)

Colts vs. Eagles

Colts 37
Eagles 10

Does anyone outside America actually watch American football? (I'm not trying to wind people up, just curious ).

If you mean America as in the US, then yes. If you mean North America well, I can't answer that one definitively.

Yeah, outside the US. I don't know if it's even shown down here.

Re: Re: Superbowl - your prediction

I used to watch it when I was about 12 and it was shown on TV regularly, but the only team I would ever watch nowadays is the Claymores.

I'd hafta agree, unless mcnabb can completely carry his team on his back again then the panthers will win, and manning is so on fire right now I really dont think the pats can stop him, but the weather will be a big factor so it could go either way

should be a great weekend of football eitherway

I still say that the Packers should've won, last week. I mean 4th and 26, how can you NOT prevail in that scenario if you're the defense?

I like real football but not this sissy lame-ass "football" of yours.

And this is in the wrong forum anyway.

Colts all the way

I don't think any team can match up with the no huddle offense.

Posted by Nell on Jan-16-2004 15:21:

soccer is football, this american shit is stupid.

who in their right mind could call it football, when the ball (which happens to be anything but a ball) is in contact with the hands more than the feet.

imo it just reflects the idiot that is america's mr bush. comical.

bring on the flames...

I'm not a packers fan but that game almost brought a tear to my eye. On top of the play you mentioned there was a few other plays that added to the claimity:

1. 4th and 1 GB decides not to go for it and run out the clock instead they kick it into the end zone and Eagles tie the game.(they will be thinking about that one for a long time.)

2. Int in OT, why the hell did brett just lob it up like a hail marry pass? There wasn't GB player near the ball. But i shouldn't be surprised brett takes too many chances, when they're successful (like the previous game) they win easily, but law of averages eventually caught up with him. They should have just mixed up short pass with running plays with Aman Green.
