Best MiniDisc Player to Record Sets On?

Hi fellow DJs:

I want to record a 2hour+ set and rip it into mp3 format. What is the best way to do this? I have heard that using a minidisc is the best way. Do you guys have any recommendations on which minidisc player is best?

Thanks many,
Mindy

hey there, well I record my mixes connecting my mixer to the line-in of my soundcard and use a program like cool edit (or soundforge.. or even total recorder).. it works for me.. dunno about the mini-disc, but since my method is direct from the mixer to the PC, it prolly has more quality... just my opinion!
Cheers!

i sometimes use my sony md player and recorder ofcourse and it can record 320 minutes on one disc

well if you recording a 2 hour set on MD then I suppose that I presume you will be recording it in Long-Play. Bare in mind that the quality will deteriorate and not only that but you will be converting it to mp3 so the quality will be reduced again.
